Oh my goodness, another great sit! Carol and Bruce are lovely folks, they were great communicators and made me feel welcome in their beautiful home right off. And Tosh, what a sweet, fun buddy to keep me company. He is a great hiker and loves exploring but is very well behaved. He's not a lap dog but still LOVES getting long massages and will talk to you for more if you stop too soon :-). He is such a sweet character, he really stole my heart. Anacortes is a beautiful area, if you like to hike there are many, many hikes to choose from, from gentle to a** kicking, I wish I could have stayed longer, there was still so much more to explore than I had time for. I would absolutely love to do more sits for Carol, Bruce and Tosh if it ever works out.
It was an absolute pleasure to take care of Dottie - and Fliss and Nick’s lovely home. Dottie is a very well-behaved, friendly and affectionate dog and was really easy to walk and generally take care of. We loved our time with her and miss her already. Communication with Fliss was seamless throughout the entire process. Her home is lovely and we were very comfortable living there during our 12 day stay. The location is great with public transport, several supermarkets and numerous restaurants and cafes within walking distance. We can wholeheartedly recommend this sit and thanks again Fliss and Nick for the opportunity!
I couldn’t recommend this sit highly enough. I stayed with Richard, Wilkie and Riley for three months over summer and it was such a special time. They are three utterly adorable cats, each with their own distinct and very amusing personalities, and all very easy to care for. I miss each of them a lot. Claire was a perfect communicator from start to finish and her house is lovely. All the amenities you need, a very cosy & comfortable bedroom with a wonderful view, and gorgeous garden where the cats are so happy to sit with you for as long as you’re willing. Lewisham is also a great neighbourhood. Very convenient and culturally rich. Claire & Ros’s house is a 10 minute walk from the station where it’s a 15 minute train to London Bridge. The DLR also makes East London easily accessible. The Lewisham centre is only a 5 minute walk away and has everything you could possibly need. All in all, this one ticked all the boxes. A calm and pretty sanctuary in a huge bustling city. I felt very lucky to spend three months in this beautiful house with three even more beautiful cats. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend it is because it’s so darn hard to leave.
I had a wonderful experience caring for Ella. She is such a sweet dog and her parents, Karen and Mark, are very kind, generous, and welcoming. Their home is beautiful and comfortable. I was even able to do the sit without a car thanks to Karen picking me up from the ferry and Mark lending me his bike! There are lots of great walks right from the house and you can easily ride into town for groceries or a trip to the cafe or ramen restaurant. It was a great experience!
