Caring for Busby and Daisy was easy. They are very well behaved and became comfortable with me immediately. They like lounging around the house and I was there a lot of the time to let them do just that. They are quick to go into the crate when you need them to. Not a problem at all with these. The bed was very comfortable! I really enjoyed this stay.

Wade
It was such a pleasure to housesit and cat sit for Wade and his three adorable kitties. Wade is the nicest, most easy going person. Communication was great and refreshingly at ease. His home is a very comfortable eclectic sanctuary surrounded by gardens that make it feel very private. I also enjoyed the peace and quiet it offered. As a cat lover, I enjoyed getting to know all three cats, who are all truly sweet. It was great to connect with Wade, glad to have met and would be happy to always sit for again. Highly recommend this sit as well!

Stephanie
It was a pleasure to house and dog sit for Stephanie and Jacinda. Stephanie has a beautiful home in a quiet spot about a 10m drive from town. Jacinda is a sweet little pup, easy to go on long walks with her around the neighborhood. Communication about plans, getting mail/watering plants, etc was easy.

Would absolutely recommend!

Highly recommended!
It was such a great pleasure to take care of Connie and Nancy, both cats are easy to care for and super sweet.

Beautiful Connie needs some alone time, especially at the beginning, and is easily startled by sudden movements. She didn't seem to be very interested in toys, actually got a bit frightened when I wanted pick a toy up and wiggle it around for her. So instead I just spent some quiet time with her to let her get used to me. Soon she allowed me to pet her, which was such a rewarding and heart-warming moment! If she's got enough time to learn to trust you, Connie can be so affectionate!

Nancy enjoys human company, she stayed almost always near me. We cuddled up often, she's so cute, you won't be able to resist her. Nancy also loved when I stroked her, but when she had enough and felt a bit over stimulated, she let me know with a gentle bite or slap. She likes playing with toys, this little lioness is a fierce hunter!

Unfortunately, Nancy developed conjunctivitis and had some blood in her stool so I took her to the vet's. The clinic is fairly close, the vets and the assistants are friendly and speak English. Frances had kindly offered to transfer money to my bank account prior to the visit to cover the costs, but I suggested that she would reimburse me afterwards, once we know the exact amount, which she did without delay.

The normal daily routine of the kitties leave you plenty of time to explore Budapest and since the apartment is very centrally located, it's easy to get around. This flat provides the perfect base for you to enjoy all that the city has to offer.

If you want to do a bit of shopping and you're interested in unique finds you might want to check out the small flea market with antiquities at Klauzál Market Hall on Sundays. The market at Gozsdu Courtyard with Hungarian vintage, design and handmade products on several days of the month is a must.
You'll be spoilt for choice as to eating out, fine dining and fast food, cafés and ruin pubs just a short stroll away. Grocery shops, cosmetics stores, pharmacy, dentist... and a small church nearby - you'll hear the charming sound of the church bell.
Being so close to the party district of Budapest, some nights you will probably also hear some rather merry partygoers. However, in the city centre, this less frequented street is your best bet for a good night's sleep.

The apartment itself is lovely, clean and tidy, uncluttered, spacious, stylish and comfortable, with a great bed and air conditioning to keep you cool during the hot summer days.

The welcome guide has lots of useful information and it was a breeze to communicate with Frances during the sit.

Frances and Pav are a lovely couple, kind and accommodating. It melts my heart to think about all the love and care, time and patience Fran and Pav put into the effort to give home to their two rescue cats, who must have had a hard life before finally finding this safe refuge.

Frances and Pav, thank you very much for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to bond with Connie and Nancy. I miss the kitties already! I hope I will have the pleasure to look after them again in the future.

Dominique
Dominique has a lovely home and did so much to make me feel welcome in the space! Everything was nice and clear and I was lucky enough to have lovely weather for dog walks in the neighbourhood.

In a heartbeat I’d housesit for Dominique again 😃

Just had a lovely long weekend at Little Hatch Cottage in their cute annex. Absolutely loved looking after and playing with all the animals. The sheep are hilarious and tame, the horses are beautiful and friendly we loved brushing them daily, the chickens are crazy and their eggs are delicious and the doggies are super cute and playful. Barely saw the cats because of our dogs but they were cute from a distance too!
The grounds and woodlands are fantastic, had some lovely long walks nearby. Absolutely loved it! X
