I had a great time with Ziggy and Beasley! They are full of energy and loads of fun! Both of them loved cuddling and fought for attention. Carissa was easy to communicate and her house is very well located, with shops and restaurants across the street
We had a great time sitting for Otto in Winchester. He's a very independent cat, was easy to look after and is very affectionate. Charlotte was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The house is a stone's throw from the centre of Winchester, so we were able to explore the city a lot. A highly recommended house sit!
David & Claire were perfect hosts from start to finish! Friendly, thorough, responsive and generous with their beautiful home and car. David kindly picked us up from the train station and provided several recommendations to enjoy the area. Their dogs, Willow and Coco, were delightful! Willow was pure entertainment running non-stop through the open fields, hurdling rows of barley like a steeple chase champion. While Coco was typically slow and steady, she did reveal her “inner puppy” and came galloping when we called her in a high-pitched voice and fetched balls when Willow wasn’t around to beat her to them. They are very affectionate and played beautifully with our little dog, Shay, from day one. As both are very well behaved with excellent recall, we took them on several outings. We absolutely LOVED these dogs! The Lincolnshire area is lovely and relaxing with beautiful walks, cute towns and lots of National Trust/English Heritage properties to enjoy. Thank you David, Claire, Willow and Coco for a great (and highly recommended) sit!
Marianne has the most charming log house, with a yummy garden, a bright, goofy, lovable dog and the softest, most Grace-ful cat. There is endless fresh mountain air and great places to walk Oscar just moments away. I also really enjoyed meeting Marianne. She's cheerful with great energy and curiosity about life!
We really enjoyed our time in Nakusp with Taylor and Theo. Taylor is young and strong and has tons of energy, so be prepared to help her have the exercise she needs. There are lots of lovely trails to walk right in town, a dog beach she loves, or you can throw her ball in the school yard just one block away. Taylor is a sweet dog who loves everyone and everything and doesn’t have a mean or vicious bone in her body. She can employ selective hearing when she doesn’t want to do something, but she is remarkably well behaved. Theo is a law unto himself, coming and going as he pleases but around for every meal time, so you know he’s OK. He is very sweet and sometimes hangs out really close to you and goes in for the occasional head butt and nuzzle. The house is light and breezy, with a lovely deck and backyard. Everything in Nakusp is within easy walling distance. The people are laid back and friendly as are Karl, Kim and their lovely daughter Jaia.
Jill was amazing. She was super kind and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Her three kittens, Loki, Thor, and Odin are the cutest. They are sweet and full of energy. We loved getting to know each of their personalities. I would highly recommend sitting for Jill. 🙂
