Cat Sitters in Troy, VA

Robyn was fabulous! She took really good care of our kitties, making sure they were constantly entertained, well-fed, and loved. She checked in with daily.updates and pictures, which were very helpful. Things went a little sideways when our cats got a bad batch of food - the first time this has happened in three years of cat ownership - and of course it happened while we were away! Luckily for us, Robyn helped to make sure they got back to good health and put them first. Whoever gets Robyn next will be very lucky to have her as their sitter.

Molly and Rick were wonderful with our sweeties, and great communicators. I also appreciate the efforts that they made to keep the apartment clean, including the sheets and towels so I won't have to add this to my plate when coming back from the weekend with three teens.

Erin took great care of Daisy. I received several videos and pictures of Daisy over the stay!

Heidi took incredible care of my dog and my apartment while I was traveling for almost a month! She was a great communicator and took the time to understand both my dogs needs and my expectations for how much communication I wanted. She sent me some great photos of him while I was out and was very professional. I would invite her to come house sit again in a second! I could also tell that she really loves dogs and enjoyed spending time with my pup. I returned home to a super clean apartment and a nice note. All to say- highly recommend her!!

Shana was an awesome house/dog sitter! We enjoyed getting photos of the adventures she went on with our dog Blue--to the dog park, on hikes--we felt like Blue got a vacation too while we were away. When we returned, the house was clean and looked the same as we had left it. Most importantly, Shana was flexible and accommodating when our flight home didn't go as planned, and she stayed an extra night to make sure Blue wouldn't be left alone. Thank you, Shana!

I can't thank Rachel & Jordan enough. We got home after 3 weeks gone and 34 hours of travel to 2 happy, healthy dogs and a beautifully cleaned home! This was everything I could have asked for!! They took on our pup's last minute, unexpected allergy situation and basically nursed her back to her normal happy self! Our other pup has diabetes and requires 2 shots of insulin a day, which was done perfectly. We feel lucky to have found a wonderful family to keep our senior puppies - both with health issues - company during our time away, which we were able to appreciate fully knowing they were so cared for. They have our heartfelt gratitude and recommendation!

We cannot say enough good things about Annemarie and her care of our dog and home. She knows Roo from a prior sit, so within minutes they were best friends again. She kept in touch with us regularly and sent photos of Roo which we loved. He is very stubborn about not eating when we are gone, so she tried different things with our suggestions and permission. Annemarie took excellent care of our home and plants, both inside and out. She even had muffins for our breakfast the morning after we got home! Annemarie is great about handling whatever comes her way. She has emergency numbers, of course, but she has never had to use them thankfully. We will happily have her care for Roo whenever we go away. We know he is in excellent hands.

Diana was absolutely amazing to work with and did a fantastic job with my dogs. She has a lot of dog experience and patience for working with my shy girl, that needed extra attention. She was so accommodating to our schedule and has great communication. The house was spotless when we returned. If you’re looking for a house sitter you can trust to treat your furry family and home like their own, I highly recommend Diana. I feel fortunate to have met her, and I would happily invite her back anytime.

Katie was wonderful. Lots of pictures of the animals great communication. My house was left just the way I left it and most importantly my dogs and cats were happy to be in her care.

Jaclyn stayed at my home for a week to care for my senior cat Momo, who has a hyperthyroid condition and needed to be given a transdermal gel medication twice a day. Jaclyn managed this well, and I returned to find my cat very calm and happy after having been well cared for. She sent me regular pictures and videos of Momo, relaxing or enjoying attention! The house was neat and tidy as I returned. I would recommend Jaclyn as a good, kind, and competent pet sitter.

Kipp has been, by far, the best sitter I could have ever asked for. He kept in contact and asked all the right questions prior to the sit. He reassured that Max was welcoming him into our home even when Max didn’t immediately want to go out on walks. He asked if I needed anything extra (chores) done while he was there and if I needed him to do any laundry before he left. I didn’t ask him to but he even vacuumed before he left. My home was left immaculate and Max seemed at ease when I got home. Nothing is more comforting than knowing your pup had a good time with someone else.

Kate was a fantastic house/pet-sitter! She's welcome back any time!
