Louise
My daughter and I absolutely loved looking after Elvis! A very handsome, charming and quitely self-contained cat. Louise is a lovely woman - she was very welcoming and warm and left us very clear instructions so we knew how to keep Elvis happy. It was very good to be able to meet her before hand. She also very sweetly left very thoughtful presents for my daughter and me - as it was Christmas.

Louise's house is gorgeous and cosy - she has great taste and her beds are very comfy. She lives in a lovely residential street - an easy drive to our friends in south London.

I certainly recommend Elvis as a cat anyone would want to take care of, and Louise as a very lovely host!

Lydia and Gail were great to work for, they left detailed instructions, a super clean house, comfortable bed, and lots of information on things to do places to shop. The Biltmore was the best and I went there twice to see the tulips in bloom. I would love to come back again and take care of your three cats, keep me in mind.

Lou and I met Lauri and Harvey prior to the sit, to get to know them, meet their lovely cats, Poshie and Leo, and to show us around the house! We returned the following morning for the sit, and settled in for a lovely week and a half.

The home:
Lauri and Harvey had a gorgeous guest room set up for us, with our own private bathroom. Their kitchen is fresh, bright, and open, and they thoughtfully left plenty of room for us in their fridge and freezer.
The Florida room, a part of the house that faces a little waterway, was thriving with local birds: Every day, we saw woodstorks, night herons, blue herons, geese, ducks, ibisis, turtles, and endless squirrels! 10/10!

The pets: Poshie and Leo are quiet, easy to care for, and just required their boxes scooped and fed 3x per day. Leo was never in the same mood, and sometimes felt like twirling around your legs, and then the wild moods would strike, and he'd run through the house like a madman. Poshie, more reserved and mature, poses like a sitting statue to watch you as you're in the home, and occasionally lets out a "mrrrow" if she's feeling like she could use a little attention. Wonderful cats, and the source of many giggles!

Lauri and Harvey were great hosts: We'd love to sit for them again!

Holly
What a delight! Holly is a super kind; friendly, and communicative person and obviously a very loving dog mama. She left super detailed instructions on their schedules, routines, and preferences. I felt very comfortable and confident that I understood their want and needs. Holly’s home is also; no joke; in one of the best neighborhoods in DC with lots of bus And metro options. It’s a dream location!

Juno and Wyatt are stunningly well behaved, kind, cuddly, fun, and unspeakably ADORABLE!! They both have amazingly distinct and charming personalities and an absolute joy to be with: They are good on leash and charmers and angels at the dog park. They went from being warmish to super affectionate in no time and m are just happy; happy, sweet dogs! I can’t wait to sit for them again!!

Holly, Juno, and Wyatt are the best!! One million stars and thumbs up!

Tina and Bob have a great house and property in the hill country along with amazing dogs and cats and even a goat.

Enjoyed feeding times with the 2 garage cats, Aremis and Dart both greeted me and always waited for their grooming and telling me all their stories.

Kiera and Razzle were awesome coffee buddies on the deck in the morning and both greeted my return from the twice a day goat and deer feedings.

Speaking of the barn, Midnight the cat would be at the barn leading the way, meowing and showing me her dish needed filling then afterwards would go about her way guarding the property around the barn.
Gleamer the goat was always a treat to watch as she had a daily path of coming and going from stall to field.
The 4 does and 3 fawns were a special treat. Filling their feed dishes and water pans twice a day they gathered around to eat seconds after i filled the food trays. They would be within 10 feet, the closest I’ve been to deer without them snorting.

The house was amazing and you could even stay there without leaving the property, which i did only leaving a few times. You can get food delivered from HEB for only $5, much cheaper than gas driving back and forth. WIFI was weak but didn’t interrupt viewing TV streaming too much, but i think that will improve in the near future.
The daily feedings and watering of the garden and tree saplings kept you busy in the 100 plus heat. Only rained once (1 inch) dropping the temp from 105 to 74 for a half day.
All in all a great house sit and looking to return in a month to repeat the experience.
Thanks again Tina and Bob!

What a wonderful experience! I met Paul at the house the day before the sit started to go over the pet and home care instructions which were clearly communicated. The cat, Squid, is a sweetheart, a total love bug. He’s easy to care for, coming and going on his own schedule, and he loved snuggling with me on the couch in the evening. The chickens were super easy to care for too and provided a steady supply of fresh eggs which was great. Paul’s home is lovely and has a gorgeous backyard with trees and a view of the Bay. I highly recommend this sit.
