Claire
I had a great time at Claire's house. She was very clear with her instructions and I had no problems with all the animals. The dogs are very cuddly, and they slept in my room, because otherwise they would bark a bit too much in the night (one of them is a shepherd dog, so it's her job, and there's a lot of wild boar around). There was heavy rain, so I got stranded there for a good week (only tracks lead to the house), but that was fun! 😊 Very wild remote place. Perfect if you want peace!

What a great time we have had at Dalia and Sam's house!!! We have enjoyed a lot with Robin, Nala, Simba and Miky. Wow four characters!!
They get along very well with each other and each one has their space. They are very affectionate and docile. They make their lives and have their adventures, but in the end they seek human company.
Simba is a gentle and kind gentleman. It is the official alarm clock for the first meal of the day. Nala, she is a beautiful damsel, she will never get tired of being combed with her brush. He would spend the seven lives like this!!! Robin, impossible to be more kind and loving. He really liked to purr a little in our bed. And Mikey?? Mikey is a sweetheart. The guardian of the house. Always ready for a caress.
Our hosts, Dalia and Sam, welcomed us with a wonderful dinner and a very comforting chat after the trip and made us feel really at home. The house is fantastic, spacious, modern, cozy and comfortable.
The town of Llagostera is less than half an hour from many interesting places, which allows you to make magnificent excursions to the wonderful beaches of the Costa Brava and no less wonderful inland towns, respecting the kittens' feeding times, with the advice from Sam who had very good suggestions prepared for us.
If you have the opportunity to meet this charming couple and their adorable kittens, don't let it pass you by. We would repeat without hesitation.

We really enjoyed hanging out with Miso at Elysia and Rob's place in Oxford! Miso is an adorable roommate, always ready to jump on your lap or chase down one of her toys.

Jericho is also an amazing neighborhood - the heart of Oxford's historic campus is only a 10-minute walk away, and the quiet paths (and horses) of Port Meadow a 10-minute walk in the other direction.

Definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our housesit on Salt Spring Island, BC. Our hosts, Kahsia & Ware, provided us with detailed notes about the house, Maize (their delightful elderly dog), the gardens, chickens and the wild bird feeders. The house is very comfortable and to my delight has a chef’s kitchen along with a full library of cookbooks and it was very nice to have lovely fresh eggs. Our mornings found us filling bird feeders, checking the gardens and taking Maize for a walk. Later in the afternoons we would check the veggie patch and feed the chickens. Maize was very easy to care for and she was great company, mostly sleeping on the deck but occasionally coming for a pat, a treat or to remind us that it was dinner time. She delighted in a walk at Duck Creek Park which involved a car ride in the afternoon in the “dog car” to the nearby park full of great trails and a creek in which she could flop herself to cool off. The hot tub was a real plus - so nice to sit in there and enjoy the views. The house is in a quiet location off the main road and is a very relaxing place to sit and read or write or wander around the area. All in all we enjoyed the housesit very much and hope that we might return one day. There is much to do on the island with lots of markets, artisans, shops, and lovely cafes.

Amy
Housesitting for Amy was absolutely wonderful! Her cat Luna was the sweetest companion..a very intuitive and affectionate little being...Amy's beautiful home is tucked in the woods..and invited creativity and warmth. Amy was thoughtful, generous and very thorough and communicative before and during the housesit.
