Our dog, Savannah, and our home were lucky to have Laura while we were away! Our little girl was loved, the house was clean when we returned and the pictures and videos throughout our trip were awesome!
There's no enough good words to describe this housesit... We have to say that the views from the room are incredible and you'll fell like in a private hotel! We start saying this just because it shocked us very positively and we still remember that precise moment. Beside the charming town and the lovely place... if you get living with Tuna and Choochi you will be the luckiest person. After 8 months with them we love them soooo much and can't find anything bad to say. They are sweet, playful, fun, affectionate and we can ensure you'll laugh and smile every day with them around. We never thought we were taking care of them but as part of the family with which we live, and we recommend you to do the same. They like to observe you, being close to you, getting your attention to play, in exchange, they will let you caress them and to enjoy when they sit on your lap. Last of all, Kerri is an amazing woman who makes everything easy and made us feel at home from the first until the last moment we stepped into her house. The communication was always absolutely wonderful and she is always available for whatever you need. It's difficult to summarize an experience of 8 months, so if someone likes to speak with us for any special information and questions we are happy to help! Good luck for an amazing experience!!! Absolutely loved looking after Sophie and Fritzie! Sofrito was incredibly well-behaved and clearly relished our time exploring the trails together. Martha and Frank's home in Sedona is an absolute treasure – from the house to the grounds and the breathtaking trails nearby. Getting to know everyone was delightful, and the incredible welcome meal was a highlight. Without a doubt, I would wholeheartedly recommend this opportunity if it comes your way.
Scampi is such a sweet dog! I loved my time with her. It takes a little while to earn her trust, but once you do, she’ll be your best buddy. She’s very smart, so she might try to get away with things if you don’t set boundaries (she’s well behaved as long as you earn her respect). Alfie is mostly around at night, and he’s a very low maintenance, chill cat. The home was lovely, clean, and in a great location. The tube is in a walkable distance, so you have great access to central London. Scampi’s daycare days give you a perfect time to get out and explore.
We had a wonderful time housesitting for Julie and Pete. We felt very welcome when we stayed with them the night before they left on their holiday so we could meet their fur kids and learn their routine. Their renovated home in the medieval town of Pépieux is great and has everything needed for a very comfortable stay. We loved hanging out with all the dogs and Ozzie the cat in the tranquil courtyard they have created. Communication was excellent through WhatsApp. Julie responded instantly to any questions or updates that we had. There are so many fascinating mediaeval villages to visit within a 10 minute drive, it was difficult to pick which one we were going to take the dogs to walk in each day. If you like ancient villages, vineyards and castles (who doesn’t ), this is an outstanding part of France. We were only at Julie And Pete’s for one week, but we could’ve definitely stayed for a few more and continue exploring this beautiful region. Their pet family is so much fun and Kodibear, our little dog who is joins us on all our adventures, quickly became best friends with everyone. Abby is the best little snuggle bug and instantly became a lapdog, and was very generous with her doggy kisses. Ava is slightly more reserved, but also quickly bonded with us and loved hanging out wherever we were. Alfie the dachshund is the baby of the family. He is a complete bundle of energy and provides endless entertainment with his hilarious antics. They are enthusiastic walkers and thoroughly enjoyed exploring all the local villages with us. Ozzie the cat is also full of personality and super friendly especially when he’s hungry. We were truly sad when we had to say our goodbyes. Overall, this was an excellent house sit and highly recommended.
Kate - Thank you for letting us look after your 5 beautiful cats and for making us feel so welcome. The Welcome Pack you provided beforehand, plus the additional information you gave us when we met, was extremely comprehensive, not only for caring for your cats but for staying in your home and getting out and about. Cathryn and Peter
We were so fortunate to have this home be our first stay on this app. Mike and Rachel are such kind, friendly, considerate hosts, and their dog babies Atlas and Eva carved a huge hole in our hearts. Gorgeous home, quaint and safe neighborhood with wonderful neighbors, we felt welcomed right away. Friends for life here! ❤️
