Megan is amazing! Our male Chihuahua/Terrier mix Joey is very shy and reserved with new people, but Megan won him over quickly which put us at ease early on and throughout our vacation. Megan is also super communicative (sent us plenty of pics) and left our place cleaner than she got it! Thanks Megan! Joey (and us) can't wait to book you again ;)
We have spent some incredible days at Lena's house! She is so kind and friendly, and Kalle is very good and calm. He behaves very well on daily walks 😊
We had a very comfortable week looking after Dawn's gorgeous cats. Harry was delight, keeping us constant company e, and we enjoyed making gradual progress with the shy Bella who mostly kept to herself (to be continued I hope!). Dawn's house is stunning, in a beautiful part of the countryside. Certainly recommend, and we hope we can come back!
Lyndal and Gary made us very welcome, gave us comprehensive instructions and showed us around the area, the house was lovely and in a great area with lots to see and do. Sierra and Nevada are great cats with very different personalities, easy to look after end enjoy. It was a great stay and would love to sit for them again.
We had a lovely week with sweet Hearts the cat. Great communications with Jeanette before and during the sit. Experienced, kind, friendly hosts. Completed welcome guide. As other sitters have said, Hearts is easy to care for. A Shy, quiet gal, Hearts appeared at meal times mostly and spent some evenings in the lounge with us. Jeanette's home is stunning, spacious and modern. Spotless all around. All mod cons for a very comfortable stay.. Guests have double guest room and bathroom. Space made for our things.. Quiet street. Weekly Cleaner. Delightful rear garden patio and bbq to enjoy. Location is very close to all amenities. The town is walkable, offering shopping, restaurants, bars, theatre etc.. cycle hire store nearby. Free bus circulator around campuses, to railway station and a weekend service to the Mall (Trader Joes, Target etc). Princeton Junction train station is a short drive away. We recommend canoeing or walking alongside the local canal. A Walk/bus/drive away. There are buses to the train station with links nationwide. We had the most amazing time at Amy’s place with lovely Asta. Amy made us feel at ease right away and picked us up from the train station, she gave us a comprehensive walk through of her beautiful apartment & Asta’s routine so we felt fully comfortable before she left. Amy was always to hand if we needed and gave us contact details of friends in case we needed any support in Abrantes 🙏🏼 The apartment was absolutely stunning, with a view over Abrantes - it had a modern feel & was the perfect spot for a quiet week of remote work. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The apartment even had a lovely espresso machine which is always a bonus as I’m very much a coffee fiend! Now to Asta, the most calm, gentle, caring dog we’ve ever met. From the moment we met her we fell in love, she had such a sweet nature and all day long would join us for cuddles on the sofa whilst we were working. We took her twice daily to her local park where she’d run off all her energy at full speed playing ball, ready to head home for more nap time. She was honestly good as gold and the dream doggy to have by your side. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and look after her again. Thank you Amy & Asta for the perfect stay ☺️
We stayed at Margaux place for 5 nights with Tchoupie, and we had a great experience. Thank you Margaux and Tchoupie for opening your home for us. We spent 5 days in Paris taking care of the sweetest cat that we ever met. She loves playing the hunter, give and receive cuddles, and she behaves so well! Communication with Margaux was excellent, all the time. We met the day before to get to know each other, get the instructions of the house (perfectly clear) and also she gave us some tips for our fantastic city tour. The apartment was very tight and clean when we got there, we hope we left it at least in the same conditions. Hope to see you again next time! Thanks for everything! Maru and Trev
