My sit for Donna and John was an exceptional experience. They are a most generous couple who are engaging conversationalists. Their directions for home and animal care were thorough and clear. Their cat, Jelly, is the most relaxed and tolerant cat I have ever known though he is assertive when feeding time nears. Moley, the elderly monarch dog, is quiet and appreciates a good nap before and after walks. Let out without a lead, however, he is a credit to his breed as he bursts into motion. Macnab, the monarch wannabe, is all you would expect of a five-year old dog bred for herding. Alert, affectionate and loving to play 'you throw and I'll retrieve' as much as you can endure. And he delights is annoying the ever tolerant Jelly. Then there are the chickens and ducks. Early morning and early evening coop release and re-enter accompanied by feeding and the gathering of eggs. Morning and evening reflection time. Anyone selected by Donna and John as house sitters are in for a refreshing time. One note: their home is a bit from the town of Nairn. You're not isolated but fields and woods surround the homestead. I was fine without a car but if want some mobility it's something to consider.
Everything was perfect! Unfortunately i didn’t meet Amber in person, but despite that my stay was so well-organized. It was really easy to communicate with her and she was really helpful with all my queries. Flat was clean and well prepared for my stay. It was well-located with walking distance to the centre. India and Bailey were really lovely. Especially Bailey needed a lot of attention and cuddles. It was really easy to take care of them as they behaved really well. I really recommend this housesit!
My stay at Nick's house was incredible, Oakley and Raspy are great dogs, very cute and good behavior. The house is gorgeous with a nice view :) From the beginning, communication with Nick has always been excellent. Nick also made the car available to me, which helped me a lot. Thank you for everything
Molly's home and beautiful cat Monty are lovely to take care of. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity.
Great apartment, great location, great view of the mountains and the most important: an adorable dog! We had an amazing time while looking after Bean. He is very well trained, easy to walk, and fun to play / snuggle with. We enjoyed it so much to take him out for walks along the gorgeous lake Geneva and other activities. In the evenings he loved it to join us on the sofa and being cuddled. Pamela's beautiful and comfortable home is perfectly located to explore Vevey and the lake Geneva (a 3 minutes walk to the lake!!). Beside of this it is super close to supermarkets, bus stop and the train station. The communication with Pamela prior to and during our stay was great. She warmly welcomed us in her apartment. A huge thank you for welcoming us to your home Pamela. We'd be more than happy to come back! We highly recommend this sit to any future sitters!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Andrew and Katie’s. Tardy, Blue, and Maeve were all super easy to get along with, very affectionate, and easy to take care of. The labs proved too strong for me to walk on leash (this may have been easier with prong collars) so for the most part, they got their exercise in the big backyard. Robbie, the cat was super friendly and affectionate, and the dogs and cat get along beautifully. I was able to get out and hike, local beaches and forests, which were spectacular. Their home is spacious and comfortable and had all the cooking items I needed to create nice meals for myself. Andrew and Katie were as sweet and easy-going as can be, and provided a wonderful tour of the place to set me up for success before leaving. I would highly recommend pet-sitting for this wonderful family.
