Carly couldn't be more wonderful and lovely! I came home and could immediately tell how much my cat Sarah had been loved (and wonderfully spoiled with lots of attention) while I was gone. I hope to work with these gals again soon because they're terrific!
Sandra and her son Jacob sat for our "domestic farm" (guinea pigs, dog and cat) over the weekend. They were kind to send pictures and keep us posted via text messages during our absence. We had a little snag with their arrival time but in the end made it to the airport on time and felt at ease that they were caring for our pets with their hearts. Our house was left in tip-top shape. We will invite them back. Grateful.
We had such a brilliant time in Brighton! Kedi was a delight to look after and loved his treat time and nap time. He is a very relaxed cat and has a calm disposition. Chris was a fantastic host, great open communication and a fab host! The location of his home was perfect and so close to the lanes! Thanks for choosing us Chris, it was a delight to look after Kedi and your home! Laura and Tay
What an amazing home to be invited to spend some time in.. The location is so incredibly beautiful! Wandering with the dogs through the gumtrees in the misty winter mornings, listening to the kookaburras call, foraging for wild mushrooms, and snuggling up by the fire in the evenings! All with the hilarious duo , Scout and Bess! These two furry friends are such opposites that I felt like all of my needs were met! Scout is instantly affectionate, so exuberant and overflowing with an insane zest for life. Bess is a true staffy.. incredibly talkative and loyal and a huge fan of scratches under her chin and soft cheeks, and cuddles by the fire. Communication with Tony and Kate was always really easygoing and enjoyable. They left a fantastic go to folder filled with information for the housesit, and I felt so welcomed on my arrival. I’m so grateful for the time i was able to spend with Bess and Scout in Red Hill.
What a wonderfully-located little sanctuary! Kate was very accomodating and her home was clean and modern. The neighborhood is nice, too, so the walks were all pleasant. A beautiful area of Arizona with spectacular land- and skyscapes! And George! Oh boy! What a personality! It was like hanging out with another person. He was very easy to love and care for. My only note would be that George will definitely attempt to get into bodies of water, like the ponds or creeks at the parks, so to use caution or bring towels!
It was our pleasure to house / sit and look after the wonder dog Flook and his sister cats . Richard and Gillian's home is so lovely and cozy . The area was amazing for walking and Chagford a charming village. We hope we will be able to return soon , with a larger suitcase so that we can takeFlook home Thank you both for sharing your home
Communication was great, and Katie and Andy seemed relaxed and confident of our care for Dylan. Their home is beautiful and very comfortable. They collected us from a station a bit far from home, and made sure we knew where everything was. Dylan's a love-bug although bigger than he thinks he is!
We loved our stay at Amanda's! Moremi, Coraline and Matilda are some of the most loving and adorable pets that I have had the pleasure of caring for, and Amanda and Joe are excellent hosts, they made us feel right at home from the moment we set foot in the condo. The kitties were quick to adopt us. Moremi plays fetch with his mice toys, and both he and Coraline liked to curl up to sleep on the bed with us every night (so cute!). Matilda clearly missed her mom the first days she was gone, but she was quick to warm up to us. She is the sweetest dog and incredibly smart, I could bring her anywhere with me and she was always exceptionally well behaved. She's also really funny, we cracked up every time she decided to drop to the ground and roll around on her back in the middle of a walk. The condo is located right on the lakefront in the historical Rainey district, with plenty of beautiful trails nearby as well as hip cafes and restaurants. There is easy access to underground parking and an elevator. The condo has all of the necessary comforts, and it is decorated with Amanda's incredible photos from Africa, some big lovely plants and an enormous collection of wildlife books. Everything in the condo speaks to Amanda's love of animals and her work as an ecologist, and we love her style! It was a joy to provide love and care to her pets and we would housesit for Amanda again in a heartbeat!
