A peaceful and wild country home, with a zen energy. The cats are old and dear. We really enjoyed this home as a peaceful break from our mammoth adventures around the US! We absolutely adored the ducks. Loved the wild berries everywhere and the free flowers put put by neighbours up the lane. This will suit you if you like a down-to-earth and rustic country experience. Thanks again Dan and Kristen 🙏🏼
This was a wonderful, serene sit with the sweetest, most beautiful kitties! Niels and Rosemarijn, the hosts, were also incredibly warm and accommodating. Lucky and Kandi (the kitties) were a bit standoffish to start and warmed up toward to end. A wonderful sit with hiking trails on the property, and a beautiful garden/compost that I tended to when possible. Great for work from home, and very close to the quaint Oregon City - Portland wasn't far. The cats loved it when I made a fire and were very good for their daily grooming. I would recommend this sit to anyone!
Anna was a fabulous host who was extremely communicative and friendly. All of the information regarding our stay and what was required for looking after piggy was provided and it was very descriptive and helpful. Piggy was an absolute joy to look after. She was a little shy for the first ten minutes, but warmed to us very quickly. She is one of the easiest pets we have had at a house sit and loved receiving cuddles and tummy rubs while relaxing with us on the sofa. The house itself was very homely and is well furnished. Located in a very peaceful area, down a picturesque countryside road. The lounge area was very comfy and ideal for those quiet nights in. We had a very cute bedroom with a comfy bed, which made for the perfect nights sleep and the house provided everything we needed for a lovely stay. All in all we had a great stay and we would love to sit for Anna and look after Piggy again in the future. Thank you Anna for making our sit an enjoyable one and it was a pleasure to meet you.
Pickles and Snacks, were the epitome of good company; cuddly, easy-going, and always up for a sofa hangout session. They were a joy to look after, bringing a playful energy that was so cute to watch. Melanie and Shannon set a super welcoming tone, their home was charming, and the neighborhood beautiful. I wholeheartedly recommend staying with Snacks and Pickles two to anyone!
