From the outset, we immediately connected with Kirsten. She is such a lovely, kind and fun person, and we knew she was the perfect fit to look after our precious boys. Toby, our 12 year old Boston requires medicating twice per day, and is challenging to feed, but Kirsten was not at all fazed by having to medicate Toby, and having to spend more time than usual at meal times, notwithstanding she was also working whilst travelling. We felt really comfortable and confident leaving the boys in her care. Unfortunately, Kirsten had to deal with an emergency situation relating to Toby, whilst she was looking after him, when he suddenly became gravely ill. She was simply amazing throughout. She was very calm, explained the issue very clearly to us over the phone, dealt with our vet, and called us whilst she was at the vet, to ensure we got the diagnosis straight from the vet. She continued to care brilliantly for both of our boys throughout, including the additional needs of Toby. All whilst having to work, as well as taking Toby to and from the vet, and ensuring Hugo’s needs were met. We are so very grateful to her for her diligence and care. No doubt, it was a very stressful situation for her. Toby is making a good recovery, thankfully. Kirsten is a really personable, kind, fun and social person, and really made an impact on our little community. She was very popular with our villagers, and made great efforts to immerse herself in the community, visiting our local shops and coffee shops, and walking miles and miles, which Hugo loved! We cannot recommend Kirsten highly enough. She was wonderful when Toby needed her, and she was so reassuring to us when we were so far away, and feeling helpless. We will Always be grateful for her care. She is a lovely person to know, and we thoroughly enjoyed her company in the days before and after our trip. Would ask her back in a heartbeat!
The best pet sitter ever! For the 4th time Emily took care of our pets and as always, in the best way. All our babies love her so much, they even seem sad when she's not around a few days after leaving. Again one of our cats had a health issue and she took action right away. This is the second time something like this happens. We're so happy with her and I think she enjoys being here as well. We can travel worry-free when she's sitting, such a relief. We can't thank you enough, Emily!
