Communication with Victoria was great, her home was clean and Queen/Crumb were as sweet as can be!
This was a great housesitting experience. The house is very comfortable, quiet, and everything you need (groceries, restaurants, coffee shops) is nearby. The cats have a lot of personality and were fun to take care of, I really enjoyed my time with them. Homeowners Krista and Chris are great to deal with and communication between us was easy and clear. I highly recommend this sit to anyone considering applying in the future.
It was great to spend a week running around with Bailey, and Bernadette lives in a lovely location. I had a really great time!
We had a lovely time with Forrest! At home he is calm, sleepy and cuddly, especially after longer walks, a little running and some ball throwing. He loved mental stimulation as well! Outside you have to keep an eye on him bc he is reactive towards other dogs, especially on the lead. Off the lead he is only bothered by dogs running at him but doesn't mind them being around at a distance of a few metres. The more tired he is (mentally and physically - he is a GSD after all) the less he cares about other dogs. However you should be rather strong to hold him on the lead and you should be able to drive in England to go to bigger and quieter parks where he can walk off the lead. Helen was wonderful throughout the stay and communication was great! She also picked us up from the station and was kind enough to adjust her dates to fit with our flights which we appreciated very much:) We will miss the cute bear a lot!
Charlene's family was a delight, what a treat to be around a young creative family. Greta may be elderly but she was comical and loyal to a stranger. The felines were entertaining as they raced around, no wonder they are called the "kittens". The chickens announcing the arrival of an egg was a fun reminder of my farming past. This was an easy sit, everything was organized and easy to follow. A lovely peaceful neighborhood.
We had such a great time housesitting for Madison and Jarod! They have the sweetest fur family ever! Min Ah and Kiyo will keep you entertained and Jack will fill your love cup right up! Don’t let the idea of three dogs overwhelm you as they are actually low maintenance and easy to care for. Madison left the place clean and organized with everything we’d need for our stay. They have a beautiful home with an oasis of a backyard that really made our stay feel like a vacation. They were communicative and friendly and I highly recommend housesitting for them!
