Jason and Angela are two really lovely people! It was really fun taking care of their dog's and enjoying Tampa over Christmas. I can definitely recommand hosting here and would love to host again :)
We can't say enough good things about Claire and Patrick. These two people are absolute gems and will make you feel right at home. Not only did they basically plan our 2-month trip to the UK for us and provide excellent recommendations, they also let us use their car, fed us lunch and dinner upon arrival, and really invited us into their home and lives. I think what we appreciated the most is that, of course, they wanted their home and dogs looked after, but more than that, they genuinely wanted us as housesitters to have a good time while doing it (and they made it easy by introducing us to their neighbors and friends in case we needed a break or wanted a little excursion without the dogs). Mavis and Toto are hilarious and intelligent! The Border Terrier is an energetic breed--we could have played tug-o-war all day long. :-) They want to be near you constantly so make sure you're good with that before applying for this sit, but if you like the company and don't mind lots of play, then by all means, apply! The garden was absolutely lovely, and we really enjoyed eating, working (the wifi reached out there--so great!), and swinging on the nice chair swing. The guest bed was also very comfortable, which I can't say about every housesit, so also very nice! The house is about a 10 minute drive from an Aldi and a Sainsbury's, but there is also a very nice farm shop a few minutes walk away. The fields surrounding the home were beautiful for walks, and we enjoyed the start of the transition to fall when we were there. Thank you, Claire and Patrick, for your kindness and hospitality (and travel-planning help!!). True gems.
We had a wonderful sit at Andrea and Steve beautiful home, it is very spacious and has a lovely guest suite on the ground floor. Simba was a little shy until he got to know us, but was very friendly once he did, he is a sweet natured cat and loves to play with his toys. The house is located in a lovely quiet area opposite the park with a fabulous cafe, a short walk down to the seafront and into Brighton. Parking was available on the drive.
Yes crewing this weekend in Auckland Classic Cup for Bruce! Mangawhai was a haven for us, so many common interests and life experiences - combined with Covid lockdowns, this was more like staying with friends than our normal HouseSitters experience. But so much in common, and maybe a bottle of red shared on a few evenings (not admitting!). Rocky and Lola ... funny as! Lola is a kitten and loved nothing better than to hide and give us a surprise whack walking past - she was hilarious...we’ve never seen a vertical jumping kitchen. She’s gorgeous and many laughs were had. Rocky, patient gentleman ... yes so patient with Lola! Stunning views from Catherine and Bruce’s home - stunning bird life and very comfortable. We really loved our stay here and in Mangawhai - it was definitely our speed. Bennett’s cafe is a must!
We had the most delightful house and pet sit in Cirencester thanks to Arabella and her super pets. The beautiful house is in a fabulous location within easy walking distance of the town centre/restaurants and also next door to Cirencester Park offering lots of opportunities for glorious dog walks. Arabella was the perfect host making us feel really welcome in her home. Her pets were affectionate and easy going and a pleasure to pet sit for. We had a really enjoyable stay and would certainly welcome the opportunity to return. We thoroughly recommend this house and pet sit.
Carlyn was extremely clear from the first conversation, she gave us all the information we needed to take care of little Lily and Jenny. Taking care of the little ones is simple and the important thing is to share time with them. They are curious and very calm, they decide when to look for you. Everything was perfect, the apartment is located in the heart of a beautiful city to walk and explore. We recommend this seat.
