Aaron and Brianna were a delight - great ‘cat people’ and my 2 elderly boys were very content in their company. Aaron and Brianna were happy to travel to me the day before I left so that they could settle in and meet the boys. They are engaging people, most caring with the cats and respectful of their surroundings. I hope they enjoyed their short stay with us and manage to enjoy lots of cat sits on their travels. It would be lovely to welcome them back here if they pass this way in future travels.
Debbie was a great host! She welcomed me in with a delicious home cooked meal and great conversation. I was quickly shown around and explained all of the amenities as well as my responsibilities while there. Her animals could not have been sweeter! The pups, Molly and Gracie were such sweethearts, always down for a walk or a pet! The chickens were a true joy - I loved seeing them throughout the day and collecting their eggs was a fun job, too! The cats Hunter and Sako followed suit and were also as sweet as can be, full of adventure during the day and ready for a cuddle at night! Debbie’s place is clean and stocked with anything you could need. Her home is situated in a beautiful neighborhood which made for lovely walks with the dogs. Additionally, she is close to stores and restaurants galore! I would highly recommend this sit! :)
Sitting for Mason and Callie was a pleasure, they are lovely cats, and lovely company. They are 2 very different characters. Callie is shy and cautious, and mason, playful, full of energy and vocal, loving attention and affection. Danica is a lovely host, very quick to respond to any questions, and left a list of recommendations for the area. The house is nice, I felt very at home, and loved the big garden and spending time out there with the cats, keeping an eye on then so they don't go in to the next door carpark or near tracks of the Rowayton train station. Super convenient for the train, just over an hour to NYC, or short stops to nearby towns. You can walk down in to little town of Rowayton which is lovely, in about 15 minutes, a pretty walk, where there are some nice food spots and lovely grocery store, and a little further there are little beaches and beautiful houses, a nice place to do a daily walk. I didn't have a car but I think would have been beautiful surrounding areas and nice hikes if you have transport. I'd recommend the sit if you are looking for a chilled time in a pretty area. Our stay with Gus. We communicated well with Ted and even got a quick tour of the house before they left. Their house is lovely and in a beautiful neighborhood filled with old homes and even older trees. It’s the perfect location whether you desire some beach time or city time or both (15-20 min) We had a sweet time with Gus. He is an energetic and strong beautiful pup who loves to run and play. Tug of war was his favorite! Long walks we’re a must to help get his energy out. He’s crate trained and it was a breeze to get him to go in his crate at night- he knows the routine( just took a treat) Thanks for a great stay.
It was a joy to take care of Amy’s sweet fur babies in their beautiful home in Boulder! Her animals are all so well mannered and each of them were such sweet lovers in their own way! Amy was super nice and great with communication. We felt really comfortable and welcomed during our stay. We would definitely watch again!
This was a wonderful housesit, the animals were loving, easy to care for and a joy to get to know their personalities. Jan stayed in touch with us and answered any questions we had very quickly. Their home was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our almost three week stay. Their Welcome Guide was all inclusive, the best I have seen. This part of PA is very close to many historical sites so it is easy to brush up on your history. A great place to sit, we rate it 5 thumbs !!
