Emily and Greg were our first housesitters and it was a wonderful start for us. They went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable with us and even more important, that Rebel was comfortable with them. I was fortunate they lived in the next neighborhood over so they stopped by several times to walk with Rebel and me and the day before our trip, Emily came by to take him out alone to ensure there were no issues with a stranger coming into the home while we were gone. In addition, Rebel is a large rescue dog and, although he is usually well behaved, none of us were sure how he would be when we left as we adopted him during the pandemic and we have been home pretty much 24/7. In addition, she had to attempt to keep Rebel from consuming too many cicadas which was a chore in itself. All went perfectly. Our house was left tidy and she even had to clean up some things that Rebel got into - he loves pillows, tissues and plastic bags. This was by no means her fault, we left them where he could get them.....and he did:) Emily communicated with me by text daily and we talked about how it went once we returned home. We came home to a happy dog which of course made us very happy and more comfortable with doing this again. Feel free to reach out to me if you need more information about this housesit. I would be delighted if they were able to housesit for us in the future and recommend them without reservations.

We had an amazing time sitting with Odin, Gaia and the girls (chickens). The dogs are both super easy, well behaved, and very cute, we enjoyed lots of cuddles. The old style Italian house is fenced in 5 acres of land so they are free to run around. We had a ball playing with the dogs in the yard.

Kelley and John were so lovely. John met us at the local cafe on our arrival and took us on a tour so we knew where to go for shopping, eating etc. We joined them for pizza in the evening while they filled us in on all the local information. There is also a house sitters handbook which has some good local info.

The whole experience was seamless and a trip of a lifetime. Kelley and John were very easy going and great communicators. We will definatley stay in touch to hopefully come back again!

Thank you so much for having us!

This was one of our absolute favourite sits - Henry is the sweetest dog!! We really enjoyed hanging out with him. He is recovering from a surgery, but enjoyed walking through nearby trails (the birdhouse park is really neat) and at Sandbanks provincial park (well worth a visit!)
Ruby was a pleasure as well, even though we saw very little of her. She enjoyed rubbing against our legs when she was around, and then would either slip back outside or into the basement.
Communication with Keeley was smooth and she was very hospitable. We'd love to sit for these guys again!

Helen
Such a beautiful environment, and Sophie and Bella are affectionate and very easy to care for.
Helen is a great host; her preparation and eye for great organisation always makes our stays relaxed and worry-free.

Annabel
Archie and Marty are lovely, affectionate pets and I was made to feel very welcome by Annabel and her family. It's a lovely house and walking distance to a nice park and Hampstead Heath. Very close to shops, etc. Many thanks!

Gina
An amazing pet sitting experience!
Gina is incredibly welcoming and kind. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel right at home! The house itself is stunning. It was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and the bed was really comfortable. Best of all, it offers direct access to the beach with awesome views.
Buddy is such a charming and sweet-natured dog. He is intelligent, cuddly, and very well-behaved. He always responded to our commands and came promptly when called. Every morning, he would gently wake us up by jumping on the bed, eager for his morning cuddles. Taking care of him was an absolute pleasure – he loved his walks on the beach and playtime, but was equally happy snuggling up for a quiet moment.

Amanda
Amanda has a comfy apartment in North Park which has more dogs than cars! So it's very quiet, empty streets and lots of bikes and dogs!
Daffy is 10 and a sweet puppy. Daffys barking is problematic when walking. Joggers, baby carriages , skateboards, scooters , some dogs
yet I know with a training collar 80% of barking will diminish. I believe old puppies can learn new behavior. I walked a very empty street daily which was great.
Plus Balboa park and pool are close to enjoy!
