Charlie was a pleasure to look after. He's independent, comes and goes as he pleases through his cat flap, likes affection on his own terms... and my little daughter fell in love with him. Beverley is even nicer than Charlie! She was extremely welcoming, left clear instructions, and the house is really lovely. Bloxham itself is a perfect village, with Co-op round the corner, 15 minutes to Soho Farmhouse, similar to Banbury and Chipping Norton - and close to the other Oxfordshire action if you need it!
A lovely place to have a sit! It was fun having a fresh egg almost daily + taking Archie 🐶 for his daily scenery lookout, - since he enjoyed it from the comfort of his buggy :) Connecting with the many community activities was also the perfect way to connect with the locals. Thank you Kerry and Brenda for having me!
We absolutely loved this house sit and caring for lovely Jaffa! Paul and Talitha made us feel very at home and were so welcoming. The home and location are beautiful - really near to Regents Canal where you can walk to Victoria Park. Jaffa is the dream dog, she is so well behaved and easy to care for, and loves a cuddle! Thank you Talitha + Paul - we can't wait to sit for Jaffa again! Would recommend this sit highly!
I had a great time with Buddy! Morgan's home is nestled in a historic MCM neighborhood rich with character. She has taken great care in her design aesthetic and created such a beautiful and comfortable place to live. From the very first contact, Morgan was a delight to engage with and was always avaialble for any questions I had. She shared everything I needed to know to take care of Buddy, her home and property, and set me up for a very successful sit. Buddy is precious, tender, and quirky. He is on a reliable and consistent schedule and lets you know when its time for his walk, meals, and snuggles. Buddy feels most at ease near his people and his favorite place to be was wrapped under a blanket siddled up next to me on the couch as I read or worked. He's a funny old man and I welcome the opportunity to care for him again. Morgan was incredible to sit for and if you are patient and attentive, Buddy makes a great companion!
We absolutely loved staying at Jess and Lara's place while pet sitting the hens Sunday, Luna and Pickle. The house is amazing, very well decorated with lots of nice books, and our bedroom was super comfy. Lara prepared two delicious vegan dinner for us (one when we arrived, another before we left), and we had a lovely time with them chatting and playing cards. Surprisingly, since we pet sit during Christmas, they also bought two gifts for us and let them below their Christmas tree. They are such an amazing couple radiating light and we can see this in every bit of the house. We really felt at home! Pet sitting the hens was very, very easy. So I highly recommend this sit.
It was great spending time with 2 beautiful Alaskan Malamutes. Both dogs were on their best behaviour inside, however they have a mind of their own walking outside and need a very strict and strong leader while walking them. The location of the house is remote but beautiful. Their is spacious garden to let the dogs roam free and very suitable for playing catch for example.
