Danielle and Antonio's top floor apartment is spacious, extremely organized and very comfortable. It's also in a very green and quiet neighborhood walking distance to a great coffee shop and a few parks. Sly and Cricket are SUPER FRIENDLY and were great company. Highly recommend this Portland experience!
Kirsten was very polite and nice to deal with. Her mother Vicki was easy to relate to and honest about the pets and their strengths and imperfections. Both Kirsten and Vicki have a tremendous amount of love for all of their animals. At the end of the visit, we too felt love and affection for the pets and had to restrain ourselves from dropping by on our way home to visit them again.
Lovely house, great location, and Timble is a really sweet and easy to care for cat. Jenny was really accommodating and kind, and quick to respond to messages.
We had a wonderful time taking care of Butters, Tigger, and the chickens! Jana & Ian have a beautiful home in a great location. There’s a fantastic park just 2 blocks away that we took Butters to for one of his longer walks each day, as well as a great coffee shop just a few blocks in another direction, and then local grocery and restaurants nearby, too. This was a perfect location for local Portland adventures during our trip. Butters is such a sweetheart. He is well behaved, cooperative with his medication routine, and just wants to be friends with everyone. Tigger still has a lot of kitten energy and is a mischief maker for sure! He also loves his snuggles and scritches and just wants to be where the people are. Our 8yo absolutely adored playing with him. Jana responds quickly to messages and is a clear communicator. We worked together to tackle a surprise kitchen hiccup during the week, and she was responsive and supportive throughout the issue. Instructions for pet and house care were clear and easy to follow, and the house was clean and tidy. Overall we had a wonderful experience on this sit, which is our first! We would love to come back and sit for them again.
We enjoyed a short but memorable weekend housesitting in stunning Pembrokeshire. Cathy and Ron are a really friendly and interesting couple, who welcomed us with a delicious home-cooked meal. We enjoyed sharing an evening with them in their very cosy home, which has simply superb views of the surrounding hills. Pepper and Chester were both very well-behaved and a delight to take care of. They were easy to walk with both on and off the lead, and Chester would love to run ahead to explore but would always return. It was only a five-minute walk to get into the middle of nature, and there were plenty of countryside trails to discover. We would be delighted to sit for them again in the future, and highly recommend this housesit to others.
We had a great time looking after Lexi. She really endeared herself to us because she loved cuddles and long walks and was good at recall. When off lead, such as at Golitha Falls, she would run a bit ahead of us and always run back to check we were ok - very sweet! Her energy is boundless, and so being off lead when it was safe worked best for us. On the first couple of walks we threw tennis balls for her, which she is crazy about, but we found she was very happy and calm without them. Monika and Andy were very friendly and showed us how everything worked in their home before they left. We really had a great stay and as we had a car, we were able to walk Lexi in lots of different and beautiful spots in this part of Cornwall.

Naomi provides an excellent service that ensures we are able to go away for work or holidays without a worry. She is an excellent and reliable pet sitter. On a number of occasions she has looked after our pets with short notice and has done a fantastic job. Our boys are not the easiest to work with, they are often stubborn and disobedient but Naomi treats them with love and care. She will often send updates and pictures and is very easy to work with when unexpected challenges arise. Naomi goes above and beyond and is very trustworthy while we are away. Our little pomeranian stayed with Naomi and her Mum at "Just Like Home Petsitters" in Bilambil for 7 weeks while we travelled through Europe and Egypt. He was extremely well looked after. They took such great care of our daughter’s American Staffy! ‘Chillie’ would come home so happy and tired from all the beach fun and would be so keen to get in the van each day! They even take time to meticulously wipe the sand off when she got home! Highly recommended! A+ from ‘Chillie’ and her devoted granny!

Donna and Farrah from Beyond Boarding Pet Services are simply the best! We needed someone who has a very good understanding of canine behaviour to mind our spoodle, Max, who is a special case. He's a rescue dog with a few issues - he resource guards, has separation anxiety and can get a bit stroppy at night, but most times he's an adorable, affectionate, happy doggo. We've owned Max for just over 12 months and until now we've been reluctant to leave him with anyone as we were nervous of how he would behave particularly at night. We had tickets to Cirque du Soleil, so we needed to figure out what to do with Max at night - leave him alone at home for seven hours, board him overnight in a commercial dog kennel, or have a dog sitter mind him in his own home. We nervously chose the latter not knowing how Max would behave at night. All went well at the start with Max immediately bonding with Farrah giving her lots of loving licks and tail wagging. However, during the course of the evening while my husband and I were being spellbound by the magic of Cirque du Soleil, Max's night time stroppy persona appeared so instead of a tail wagging happy doggy, Max became growly and anti-social. Although disappointed that they were missing out on lots of cuddles, Donna and Farrah calmly accepted his behaviour while texting me updates for which we were very grateful. Thank you Donna and Farrah for putting up with Max's bad manners so calmly and competently. It means a lot to us that you were there for Max and at no time did you loose your cool!
Donna walked our beautiful labrador Charlie for a number of years in Sydney and we miss her kind, compassionate care. Charlie was always super excited to see her and stood at the window waiting for her when I said Donna was coming! We can't recommend her highly enough to take care of your fur babies. She is amazing! Donna took care of our 2 dogs and 2 cats beautifully while we were overseas for 19 days. We cannot recommend Donna's services highly enough. Donna helped me out of a bind over Christmas time… i was a new customer and she was fully booked however she went out of her way to squeeze us in and accommodate our Bearded Dragon Bruno! Whilst Donna was not very familiar with caring for Bearded Dragons she quickly learnt and followed us up with questions whilst we were away rather than just leaving him! I recently had an unfortunate experience with this doggie day care. Unfortunately, my dog came back pregnant, which was really unexpected and concerning. It's important for a day care to take proper precautions to prevent such situations. I would advise others to be cautious and inquire about their safety measures before choosing this place.
I had a truly heartbreaking experience with this doggie day care. Unfortunately, my beloved dog passed away while under their care. The loss is devastating and I can't help but question the level of care provided. I would strongly caution against choosing this place for the safety and well-being of your furry friend.

We had been here before under different management and it was great, Took our little dog Mickey down for a groom and shampoo today 19th Jan 2022, he is a Lhasa Apso / Toy Poodle. Lady over the phone was very pleasant and knew the breed of dog. There appeared to be a different lady working today who was little interested in grooming our dog or shampooing him, she said he was matted on the belly so could not cut or shampoo. (Apologies, but is this not what groomers do ?) Asked us to go and buy a de-Knott brush. We picked up our dog and took him home after wasting 2 hours, to make it worse his collar was not put back on, we did not realise till we got back home. We called and the lady said we can pick it up at the counter. It appeared that the new owners now have doggy day care so it probably a handful for one person. Anyway disappointing for us…. Byee.
They seemed very good in the beginning, my 15 week old Australian kelpie was having so much fun going there and made so many mates. I got a call one day saying to pick my dog up because he attacked 3 dogs???? For one he has never shown any sign of aggression ever, I spend so much money on training and isnt it a facility like that supposed to introduce dogs that get along??? How can 15 puppies all get along? She even told me that she hit my dog over the head to stop him attacking dogs!!! Are you kidding me what a disappointment a place that looks after puppies doesn’t know how to actually look after dogs! Your call take your dog there if your want it to be hit will make it tougher supposably?

Left my 2 dogs here for two weeks and was very impressed with Currumbin Pet Resort. They sent photo updates and let me know how my dogs were going regularly. Highly recommend this place. You can tell the staff really care about the animals and love their jobs. They came back clean and smelling amazing.
Receptionist wasn’t the friendliest when I came in and didn’t provide any information when I arrived with my dog. I said I would be back just before 12pm to pick him up as the hours on the website say they close at 12pm and she then asked why he wasn’t staying all day as they were open til 5pm. I arrived at 12:30 thinking that was fine as I was told they were open until 5pm and then there was no one there and no one answering calls. After over half an hour of calling and stressing as we didn’t know how to get our dog, we finally received a call from a worker that they could quickly grab him for us. Really poor communication by GCPR. If you have closing hours during the day, please confirm this with customers at drop off. It caused a lot of unnecessary stress. Thanks to Khaila for helping us get our boy. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning as this was a really negative experience.
The staff at Currumbin Pet Resort are outstanding! Our 2 dogs can be very anxious, but they matched them for play time with perfectly suited dogs and they had a fantastic time. They have made it possible for us to enjoy our holidays knowing our dogs will be happy and well cared for; and we are so grateful to them.

Both my dogs Zeke and Lexi love daycare and boarding. Lexi is very anxious and in Melbourne I had been unable to put her in daycare. I was worried that it would be the same but at Currumbin, the staff are fantastic and they have taken such good care of her and Zeke. I highly recommend Gold Coast Pet Resorts in Currumbin.

WARNING WARNING : kennel cough at the Currumbin site . We have recently had our dog stay for 1 night at the Currumbin site. A few days after we picked him up he started to get sick with what we suspected kennel cough. We are travelling across Australia and could not get to see a vet until now and the vet confirmed kennel cough. I wanted to warn others thinking about leaving your pets here as this has happen twice to us whilst staying here . I called to inform them and was told there was no reimbursement for my vet bills as kennel cough is common. Basically told there was nothing they could do. Now that it’s happened twice to us I would seriously think twice about leaving your pets here.
Our pup Coco stayed for 1 week with the girls & guys at GC Pet Resort Currumbin. I was a little nervous at first as we have never left her here before. Whilst we were away the staff gave updates on how our pup was going with the other dogs/ staff. She has come home happy, looks well & smells nice and clean- we know she has been well looked after! We will have her stay again, thanks guys!

Mack and Frankie absolutely love going to see Julie and the team. The way they structure the days ensures the pups are so well nourished; mentally, physically and socially during their day. They come home and are extremely content. Mack, who used to shy away when other dogs approached him, is now so confident he approaches other dogs! And Frankie has made lots of new friends and has stopped barking for the ball to be thrown, a huge shift in her manners. They are truly thriving and we are so grateful for Julie and the team at Dogz Only.
The best daycare by far we’ve ever been to, and the loveliest team. We experienced a traumatic incident at another daycare, and in my first meeting with Danae I was taken through the strict assessment process all dogs must pass, which provided such a great reassurance, and I am comforted in knowing that the daycare, owned by an experienced canine trainer in Julie really know what they are doing and really love the dogs! I can’t say enough good things about the whole team, they are all so wonderful and even though Duggie can’t speak (English) I can tell by his smile (which I’d never even witnessed until he smiled at Julie) and his mannerism when he arrives for his day at ‘school’ that he absolutely loves it there! (And they have the best toy range in town - Duggie approved!) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🐾
My Tigger has been going to Dogz only for almost 2 years and I cannot highly recommend them enough. Every single staff members treats the dogs as their own. Tigger absolutely loves everyone of them. Do yourself a favour and book your babies in you won’t regret it. They are the best.

I have used Julie for years as a trainer for my rescue dogs and also in day care for my newest addition. She is totally fabulous in every single way, I don’t know what I’d do without her and the centre. My dogs love her so much and are always excited to go to the centre and devastated to leave! We drove up with our 10 month old Cavoodle Freddie from Sydney for a holiday. When we arrived we realised we needed a day care for Freddie on some of the days while we are out doing activities that didn’t include pets. I found Dogz Only on Google and thought their website looked great. I gave Julie a call and she was so helpful and kind. Freddie booked in for 3 days and he had an absolute blast. The team are warm, caring and very professional. The facilities are cleaner and tidier than my own home! I loved receiving updates throughout the day with photos and videos of Freddie having so much fun. I couldn’t recommend Dogz Only more and when we come back for another holiday, we will be booking Freddie in for more fun at Dogz Only. Thank you for making Freddies holiday extra special.
This is an exceptional set-up. Julie and her team are top of the range animal trainers, creating a custom site in Tweed where dogs come home both exhausted and better behaved! Murphy is an eight month old puppy and I cannot imagine a better community for him to grow up in, thank you Julie and keep up the great work :)
Buddy goes on Fridays mostly. He is so loved and well looked after by Julie and the crew. He has a ball, it makes him so happy. It has made all the difference to his puppyness. We were very lucky to be able to book Kassie’s services last minute. We’d planned to leave our dog at home by himself for the day in our holiday apartment. It was the first time he would have been left alone there, so we did a trial run the night before and came home to a note on the door from a neighbour letting us know he’d barked the whole time (he gets nervous in new places). So we started the looking for someone to come and spend the day with him the following day. Finding a dog sitter can be daunting, but Kassie made the whole interaction seamless and reassuring. Kassie is an excellent communicator, we stayed in touch the whole day, with photo updates of our fur baby so we knew they were getting along. I would absolutely book Kassie again next time we need a dog sitter on the Gold Coast!
We went camping for 10 days and left our cats at home. At first we were worried about having to book them into a cattery as the sudden change tends to upset them. We found Kassie through Facebook and figured we’d give her a go. She was so caring and considerate with our cats Kiwi and Middy! She provided photos of them with each visit so we knew what they were up to and even visited on Christmas Day. Definitely won’t be her last visit! 🐾

Kassie is wonderful! We have been getting regular walks with our groodle. His ability to loose lead walk has improved out of sight. Kassie has been working both, with Barney and myself to teach us how to train him and help him to stay calm. Kassie is also super responsible and reliable - highly recommend!
We hired Kassie to come and feed our Labrador Winston and she was amazing. Kassie was affordable, friendly and easy to communicate with. Winston absolutely loved having her around and she always sent photo updates each time she came around. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!
Buddy gets really excited whenever Kassie comes to collect him for a walk which tells me that he has really connected with her. She has been really flexible and accommodating to some ad hoc requests and always responds to messages really quickly. It's great having someone trustworthy to help us with making sure he is getting enough exercise and training.
I recently hired Kassie for pet sitting services to help me look after, and look over my two beautiful cavoodle fur children, Louie 9 years old and Lotus who just a little 12 week old babe! I feel so much relief knowing she is spending time with my girls on my long days at work, and they don’t have to spend long days by themselves. Kassie was fantastic and realiable. In the past we have had pet sitters muck us around coming into the holiday season with last minute cancellations so I was nervous as we were travelling interstate for Christmas. We received daily updates and photos. Will definitely use again.
Kassie is wonderful!! Highly recommend Kassies dog walking & pet Sitting to everyone on the coast. We have used her a few times now, both to walk our boxers and also to pet sit overnight. Kassie is great and my dogs love her! She is prompt, keeps me well informed, accommodates last minute bookings, professional and reliable. She is now the only person we will use to walk our dogs! We love Carey's dog minding service because our dog loves it! Our Westie Peggy can't wait to join Carey's dogs as they are wonderful companions and make beach time extra special. Carey's professionalism, kind and caring nature combined with her skills with all dog breeds is priceless. Her property is generous, comfortable and clean. Her containment of the number of dogs she hosts mean they get excellent care and attention. We enjoy our time away because of the confidence and security Carey provides. Peggy has such a fine time that we are tempted to book ourselves in! And we promise to be good!!😀😀
Carey is absolutely wonderful taking care of the dogs. Our Frankie goes once a week to daycare and has just started staying over. We know she is in such good hands and do not worry about her. She loves the beach trips and making new friends. Highly recommend! 🐶
Millie is a regular day care and overnight veteran with Carey at Paradise for Pooches and she loves it!. It’s a definite stress free service and Carey’s love for dogs is abundantly clear in the way they respond to her. Finding a safe and caring environment to leave our fur baby is so important - we can’t recommend Paradise for Pooches highly enough!
We just LOVE Carey. Buster has been in paradise 2 days a week and the odd night for over a year and he is always sooooo excited to play w all the other dogs that Carey has all under control very well! I mean 2 walks a day at the beach! Amazing! Carey is such a caring woman and deeply respects the animals and is very friendly and easy w us owners!!! Can highly highly recommend Carey and her service to anyone who loves their dogs!! Xxxx
Hello! Peggy the Westie here! I have just returned home from another awesome little stay with Carey and friends. As soon as I got a "whiff" of my holiday destination I started to whinge and carry on in the car. Then I nearly dislocated my mum's arm in my eagerness to join my hosts. As soon as my leash was removed I took off to play and even forgot to say bye bye to mum and dad ...oops! (Although I have made amends with an extra big loop -the-loop hello upon their return.) Mum says that all my compliments about Carey's may mislead people to think that I live in a small cardboard box and do nothing. In truth, I have a wonderful life and home full of love and adventure. I say that just goes to show how good it is at Carey's.....if it can excite a spoiled kid like me it must be paradise!!
Carey is just wonderful, can't recommend her enough. Fantastic with dogs, huge and safe fenced yard - right across from the beach. My dog loves her two dogs as well.
Most awesome dog carer, trainer and entertainer! Our little Lloyd loves hanging with his besties and Carey at the beach and in her massive backyard. And he comes home with manners!
Robert's extensive expertise, knowledge and approach to dog training is amazing. He trained my two female rottweilers from six months of age and they were unbelievable dogs due to his care and attention to their training requirements. So thankful for the dedication Robert gave us. Gained two awesome well behaved dogs and a great friend, cannot recommend Robert highly enough!
We highly recommend Robert! We had no idea what to do with our dog's separation anxiety. He's a rescue so he had it pretty bad (velcro dog). Spending just 1 session with Robert we were able to get the tools that we needed to get our dog to stay at home calmly. We're at the 40 minute mark now consistently, before it was 10 min at best, and adhoc. We're working on continuing the training to extend that time but it's definitely more a manageable method than we've seen online!
Robert was amazing in working with us towards training our excitable cocker spaniel x poodle back when he was a pup 12 years ago. His methods were extremely effective, and have had a long lasting effect on both Ollie and us! Highly recommend for any training needs!
Rob, trained my son's pitbull about 12 years ago. He trained him to be social and gentle with other dogs. He won't rush up to other dogs, he waits for them to come say hi to him and he is so gentle with little dogs even if they growl at him he just steps back. This is all because he was trained so well by Rob
Rob is amazing! He really understands how dogs think. He uses only positive reinforcement training methods. He gets results that last for the life of the dog. I give him my highest recommendation.
Rob really knows how to modify animal behaviour. Was a big help on our rescue dog who has anxiety issues.
