Nelson is simply gorgeous, such a character and certainly enjoyable to have around. We were welcomed into Davina and Steve's home and felt very comfortable right from the start. We enjoyed a lovely meal with them which Davina prepared, absolutely delicious and m must appreciated. Communication was excellent from the start. It was difficult leaving Nelson, he is so gorgeous. We wouldn't hesitate to sit again should the opportunity arise. Once again, thank you very much Davina and Steve xx
Willow and Ruby are adorable! Great sit with Willow who is a sweet lap pup and loves her zippy walks. We went for a couple runs and it was a blast :) Fantastic location in LA area, not far from the Arroyo trails and Rosebowl for hiking/running/cycling. Great apartment with a lovely patio for getting some work done with a Willow in-lap or having a meal. Hope to sit again, Thanks David & Kim!
Dan and Heathers place is like a little piece of heaven. Calm. Peaceful. The beautiful sound of pigeons coo cooing. And Rex and Katara were next level gorgeous! Such beauty. Such poise. So funny too. I didn’t see too much of Katara, though she was very talkative. But Rex was my buddy all weekend. Lots of brushes and smooches and cuddles. I enjoyed my time so much. Thank you both. It was a total joy.
Where to start! We enjoyed getting to know Harvey and Nory so much and are grateful to have made a connection with them. They opened up their home to us and were more than welcoming. Instructions for the home and pets were very clear and laid out for us. Their home is so beautiful, it was like staying in a museum with the comfort of a home. Luna is an extremely easy going and sweet natured dog. We have been home from our sit for a few days and are still talking about her. She loves to cuddle and play, and is very well behaved. San Miguel De Allende was an absolute dream. We loved it so much, we hope to one day return and see our friends Harvey, Nory, and Luna again!
Barbara and Peter are considerate, organized and gracious hosts. We communicated both before and during the sit. They kindly stocked the refrigerator with a few essentials for me, even including pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving. I thoroughly enjoyed my short sit with Obi, a friendly, chill, standard poodle. He is quite easy to care for, well behaved and obedient, but definitely with his own personality. As long as you give him his 3 walks/ball playing jaunts daily and let him out in the back yard a few times a day he is content. He can be left for up to 4 hours allowing you to take in DC sights which are easily accessible on the nearby metro. No need for a car on this sit. Restaurants and grocery are a few short blocks away. The house is comfortable and immaculate in a desirable area of NW Washington. If you don't feel like sightseeing you can enjoy the eclectic CD collection sitting by the fireplace in winter or the lovely back porch and garden in summer. I highly recommend this sit and would be happy to return.
Fleming is a great host who made me feel welcome and provided thorough instructions on how to care for her home and cats to make sure I had all the necessary information. The condo itself was stunning. Not only was it clean and well-maintained, the location was also a major plus, as it was conveniently situated in a great area. The true highlight was without a doubt Fleming's two cats, Tucker and Frankie. They were an absolute delight to be around. They were so sweet and playful. The way they greeted me at the door upon my return each day melted my heart. Taking care of Tucker and Frankie was truly a pleasure. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better housesitting experience. I would highly recommend housesitting for Fleming and I’m looking forward to coming back!
