This was an amazing sit! Avril and her family were so generous, kind and welcoming. They even picked me up from the airport and made sure I was fully stocked with tea, coffee and food. Scout is the cutest little pup - we had a blast cuddling and playing fetch on the beach. And their house is gorgeous - beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I’d gladly sit for them again. Highly recommend!
We had a lovely sit with Oscar. He’s a happy, lively, handsome and friendly dog. We really enjoyed walking him in the stunning surroundings from Liz and Steve’s home. He also was happy to visit pubs and villages. He needed a little time to settle but was then fine and received numerous compliments from others. Keep an eye on any visible reachable paper - he loves to snaffle it! The home is warm and spacious with lots of character. Liz and Steve were very prompt to answer any questions. Overall we had a great sit.
Great sit in Barcelona! We stayed in a 19th century appartment in l'eixample, which had high, hand painted ceilings and was situated pretty much in the cenre of the city. We looked after two lovely dogs, both very affectionate but as different as chalk and cheese. Michie, a seven year old Beagle was happy to wander along having a sniff here and there, whilst Luna the Collie wanted to pull a sledge and you with it! She was a crazy hound with a passion for chasing and retrieving anything, but with the sweetest temperement. We didnt see much of Phil and Fi before they went but had a nice meal and a couple of bottles wine with them on their return. They were great company and we will stay in touch. All round, a great sit that I would recommend to anyone.
I absolutely loved caring for Ruby, Denali, Will, and Rose. Ruby and Denali are so much fun to walk and the location of the home is awesome. Jennifer sat me up in my own apartment within the house. I was very comfortable as its fully equipped with a stocked kitchen where you're able to cook your own food. Your own private laundry is right there too! I loved the animals coming down and hanging out with me. You are also able to shut the door if you want but what fun is that? The dogs are so sweet and loving. The cats are very independent. I would love to care for them again.
I had a super chilled and productive week working on my master's degree while looking after Martha in Caroline's and chris' house. Martha is a very sweet and affectionate cat who loves spending time in the back garden. She was a little cautious, but not unfriendly, around me for the first day. But soon warmed up to me thereafter. Caroline and Chris were very accommodating and made me feel instantly at home in their home. They also provided me with all the information I needed for a trouble-free sit. The house has everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. There are plenty of bus routes and TIER scooters & bicycles only a short walk away so commuting around Bristol is super simple. The Bristol to Bath cycle path is also close by and makes commuting into the centre of Bristol or over to Bath a very easy route to follow. There are also a range of shops located close by on St Marks Road and in the Eastgate Retail Park. Overall, a really enjoyable sit with a very lovely moggie that I would love to do again.
It was an an absolute pleasure to share time with Jasper whilst Candy and Terry were away in China. Jasper is VERY loving and we had lots of fun playing with the balls and chasing the (toy) mice. Jasper is a breeze to look after because he makes himself available for cuddles whenever possible and it is a dream to share time with him if you are prepared to be still and take in the wildlife from the huge window in the sitting room. I feel completely blessed to have stayed at Candy and Terry's beautiful home, the energy of the woodland lake and stream is magical and surrounded with wild birds. I feel lucky to have been visited by a young deer a couple of times, as when the weather was warm enough, Jasper and I sat out on the balcony to spot the wildlife in this beautiful sanctuary of peace. This was a wonderful sit, highly recommended for peaceful souls who love to take time in nature's peace and stillness. Thank you Candy and Terry for allowing me to feel so at home, for providing such a warm welcome and being such fabulous pet parents, I am happy to come back anytime!
