Really enjoyed my time in Chelsea. Brilliant location with the Thames on one side and Kings Road on the other. Maree and Greg provided everything I needed. Spacious and comfortable apartment. But the absolute best bit was hanging out with the sweet boy, Nero. I have looked after many dogs in the past 15 months and he is top of the list. An absolute pleasure. Hope to return.
Eileen is a charming and welcoming hostess who greeted us with a lovely meal as she showed us the tasks and routines. On this occasion she took Rollo the dog with her, which was a shame for us as he was great fun. The chickens and alpacas were easy just needing feeding and attention for less than hour at the beginning and end of each day. Seeing Belle, the blind alpaca, navigate her way around was amazing and humbling. The house is a very old traditional stone farmhouse set with just 3 other properties along tiny country lane. It's a 5 to 10 minute drive to anything that counts as a road so a car is definitely needed. Having said that the lanes are so quiet they make for easy walking. It's an idyllic spot for peace and quiet though the fields are steep so not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues. It's a 15-20 minute drive to a town that has everything you'd need and only 30-40 minutes to coast or moorland. There weren't many places for eating out of an evening, partly due to covid restrictions and partly due to location but it was easy to find good ingredients for home cooking or a cafe for lunch. If you like true country living, animals, peace and quiet, bird watching and a lovely garden, this is a wonderful sit. We are certainly hoping to go back.
Harlow, Felix and Louie are all characters and a pleasure to take care of! They all have their unique personalities. Felix will cuddle you at night and will give you lots of love. I miss them all already. Michelle's home is comfortable, and it was lovely to meet her. She is a text away if you have any questions.
Amanda is very easy to communicate with Their home is a lovely old Queensland home modernly renovated… it’s very clean and our quarters were very comfortable as was the bed The location is very close to the CBD (7km) and lots of foreshore eateries and restaurants which we enjoyed on one of our days at the sit Bobby has a beautiful & vibrant personality we loved his company and looking after him… his routine is very straightforward We highly recommend this sit to future sitters!
Lindsay's apartment is lovely and bright in a nice building. The neighborhood is conveniently located with nearby bakery and restaurants. Artemis is a sweet kitty and was a pleasure to spend time with her. With a little encouragement, she was happy to play and she did love getting brushed. I would definitely recommend a stay with Artemis!
Sharon and Maurizio were very kind! They offered to pick me up from the train station and made sure I was comfortable at their place and with Pepper and his needs. Their instructions were clear and communication was great! Pepper is a sweet cat, he was very pleasant, cuddly, great company and super easy to care for. I also really appreciated having the use of their office. It was so nice having being able to pack a picnic and have it at the beach, which is a 10 minute walk. The other nearby towns are easy to reach if you are looking to explore the area. I also received some treats Sharon and Maurizio brought from their travels!
