Ted was very accommodating to us from the start, we had the use of his truck and he left instructions for us as well. The animals were all lovely-especially Tako, who we immediately fell in love with!! The cats were also very sweet and each with their own personality. The yard was our favorite feature and we spent most nights out back. Ted has the greenest thumb we've ever seen and there are plants everywhere! We tried our best not to kill anything in the heat! The chickens enjoyed the yard in the mornings and were easy enough to corral back into the hen house. The house is charming and sweet and we made ourselves comfortable there as much as possible. The pets are all indoor/outdoor and with the exception of Tako who loves walks and attention, they pretty much care for themselves. We enjoyed this stay and would recommend this sit to those visiting Chico!
A great sit for a gorgeous furry girl. Beanie was a pleasure to look after and nice company. Georgie, Beanie’s owner was friendly, quick to respond and provided lots of info about the area and about Beanie’s needs. Georgie was happy for my sister to accompany me on the sit which was very much appreciated. The flat was lovely, clean and tidy with a pretty courtyard garden and in a great area with lots of nice cafes, restaurants and stores. There was a choice of two underground’s within 15 mins and a railway station a few mins away. All in all a great sit and I’d love to look after Beanie again.
Gemma put so much into making my first THH assignment memorable and happy; communicating very clearly before my visit, giving me the biggest bedroom and welcoming me with gifts of bath salts and chocolate! Simba and Micky are two of the most laid-back cats I’ve ever met; effortless to look after – both independent and spend much time outside or asleep. There are numerous well marked walks in the area and St Albans has so many historical gems to explore – the Cathedral is a world-class gem, and the market one of the best I’ve ever visited!
We had such a wonderful time at this sit. Mitzi is just the sweetest dog. She has a lovely personality and is very gentle and well behaved. She's really good to walk and even better for snuggles! Communication with Alex was brilliant before and during the sit and the house and village are both beautiful. We would happily sit here again. 😀
My husband and I had a phenomenal time sitting for Cindy! She’s a very gracious host, and planned her trip so she could show us around the area the night before she left, as well as show us first-hand how to take care of her pups. Brody, Jazzy and Griffey were so much fun to care for! We went to the beach with them every morning, and they are the most polite, well behaved dogs - were off the leash the entire time and we never had any issues! The area where Cindy lives is beautiful. So much to do! I highly recommend sitting for Cindy and her doggies. We had a fabulous time.
We had a great time at Sarah & Paddys house with Lewa the adorable lab and Bacon the very cute puppy Jack Russel . We had a very warm welcome and a lovely meal cooked by Sarah on our first night and got to know the doggies. The area is beautiful with lots of great walks and the house a lovely old large country home with all the modern amenities. We had a lot of fun with the doggies and would definitely go back again.
