You're going to see me saying the same things that others have said before me - Erik is a DREAM sitter. It's worth getting a pet just so you can have Erik come stay at your house! Seriously though .... I have two energetic dogs who do best with a lot of physical and mental activity. Erik walked them for miles and miles twice a day, took them to an off-leash dog park where they could run and look for rabbits until they were exhausted, worked their brains, took naps with them, etc. Erik has friends and family in our area, so Beau and Lucy (our dogs) got to go to parties, restaurants, ice cream stands and meet new people along the way. As if that weren't enough, Erik took photos - professional quality photos - of our dogs. Action shots, sitting shots, goofball shots. Our Portuguese Water Dog has an all-black face with lots of hair and is particularly difficult to capture in a photo, but he did it! But Erik's care and attention is not limited to the dogs. When we returned the towels and sheets were clean and replaced as I'd left them, and the house was immaculate. I KNOW the garage was cleaner than I left it, and probably everything else was too! Oh - and he drove us to the airport on our departure, at 6:30 am no less! In sum, I cannot possibly over-state what a miracle Erik is. You want him, your pets want him.

Our experience with Kim was outstanding: she volunteered to have a zoom call first, followed by an in-person visit for a meet-and-greet. At the time of the housesitting start we had a last minute change of plans due to a flight delay and then cancellation, and Kim was very gracious and flexible with us. She was an excellent companion for Sidney, sending us regular updates and notes, and she kept our home in perfect condition. I'll be reaching out to her first next time we travel. I couldn't recommend her more!
