Laurie was an outstanding sitter! From beginning (estimated arrival time) to end she kept us updated. She shared daily pictures while we were away and captured the fun, unique personalities of our cats. She clearly enjoyed our kitties and they were well taken care of. She was very organized and travels light. Our home was left neat and tidy. It was our pleasure to host. We enjoyed meals and conversation and would not hesitate to have her again if the opportunity presents itself. Adam and Shely were fantastic. I cannot recommend them more highly. We felt confident in them throughout. They asked all the relevant questions they needed to know before, and sent us a few updates whilst we were away. There were no problems at all. We had to leave them with instructions on some medication for our dog, and they had no problem with this. They left the house clean and looking immaculate, and the pets were incredibly relaxed and happy when we returned home. What more could we ask. It felt like a really great experience. We would welcome them back to our house anytime.
I recently had the pleasure of cat-sitting for Judith, and I must say, she is truly an interesting person! Kind, full of energy, and well-organized, Judith made sure I had all the necessary information well in advance. She told me all about the needs and personalities of her three beautiful cats, ensuring I felt prepared and welcomed. The apartment is small but cozy and reflects Judith's artistic personality and her love for the cats. Now, let's talk about the three beauties: Ona: She's a princess in every sense of the word. Soft, elegant, and playful, she’s a joy to be around. Bruna: Though a bit shy, Bruna is incredibly sweet and loves her cuddles. Ilay: An energetic, curious, and funny creature, he wants to know exactly what's going on at every moment, unless he's hidden for his siesta time. He kept things lively and entertaining. The town is well-served by buses, making it easy to get to the beach, though having a car would certainly make things even more convenient. Overall, it was a very nice sitting experience, even if it was a bit short. Judith and her cats made it truly memorable.
We had the most incredible time house sitting for Bob and DaAnne in Santa Barbara! They were wonderfully generous, full of great tips for things to do in the area and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. All instructions for house and pet care were very thorough, everything we needed to care for the cats and their home was stocked up and ready to go. Communication was excellent throughout. Mama and Izzy are a dream to look after, two friendly and low maintenance indoor cats whose main concerns are food and sunbathing on the balconies. They’re a real pair of characters, especially Mama who will instruct you on precisely how to serve her breakfast each morning. The house is in a peaceful community an easy walk to the beach and wharf, with many excellent restaurants, bars and shops in-between. Bob and DaAnne’s home features three sun terraces (one with ocean views perfect for sunset), a well equipped kitchen, AppleTV/Netflix etc - all in all, a very comfortable place to stay!
Mia and Sherlock are great cats. Mia's quite playful while Sherlock liked to do his own thing most of the time. They're very obedient and chilled out cats. Janet and Brian were also very welcoming and accomodating (thank you for the BBQ!). They have a lovely, cute home with a great view. Thank you for a great experience.
I really enjoyed my time with Ellie and Lily, both girls are super cute. We had fun throwing the ball around and they'd gather around in the kitchen while I was prepping. The home is comfortable and situated in a walkable location.
Pandora was the sweetest cat I’ve ever met! As soon as I walked into the door, she was curious about me and let me pet her. She was easy to care for and loved to play with her bumblebee toy. It was quick and easy to get to and from downtown Providence from the house which was a plus!
Bev and Mike are incredible hosts. I arrived the day before the sit started to meet everyone and they graciously treated me to dinner at one of their favorite restaurants. I really cannot say enough nice things about them - very friendly, kind, and appreciative that my sister and I were able to sit for their fur family. I knew that Buster was leery of strangers, and had high hopes that we would be great friends based on his interaction with me while Bev & Mike were home, but after they left he displayed signs of being anxious. He did not want me to pet him and would not let me get close enough to put his training collar on him for "walks" on BLM land. Fortunately, they have a large yard that he and Micah could romp and play in, so we was able to get exercise that way. He did respond to calls to come in for meal time, and cleaned his bowl each time - so there was that at least :-) He came around the last 2 days of the 7 day sit and approached me for a little petting and to accept treats from my hand. Micah was a bundle of energy and had no hesitation in accepting pets or treats. Mouse is a typical cat and did his own thing, but did approach when myself or my sister was resting on the couch to lay on top of us. Overall, a really wonderful sit. Great hosts that were easy to communicate with, super pets that have a great setup and are able to be left alone while exploring nearby (though Micah did get into some mischief a couple of times), easy access to Albuquerque (we had our own transportation), and a comfortable home. I highly recommend this sit to anyone visiting the area.
