Kefir was a delight! Playful, cuddly and easy going! Rebecca and Mike were welcoming and their home cosy. It was really easy to get around (the T or bus are really close by) and personally, I really enjoyed the many trails to walk or run on that were super accessible. It’s. Great low-key neighbourhood with everything you need within walking distance. Loved it!
Charlotte and Brad were wonderful hosts, making us feel very welcome in their lovely home. Mila was a true delight to look after, she was very well behaved, affectionate and easy to care for. We would happily look after her again.
I had a great weekend at Kim and Steve’s! Ragnar is a sweetie who is calm and well mannered! :) She had a play date with her sister, Whiskey, and it was so fun to watch them play together. We were blessed with great weather so we spent a lot of time chillin’ outside by the pool. The neighborhood is great for walking and there is a park very close by. My favorite spot in the house was the kitchen nook where there was great natural light and I could see the dogs in the backyard. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need to have a great stay. I had several online client sessions without any problem. I appreciated how quiet and peaceful the neighborhood was. Kim and Steve were very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely sit for them again and I would recommend to others.
I spent a wonderful week in Jakob’s and Maddy’s comfortable and amenity-rich apartment near Navy Yard. Their sweet dog, Nora was a joy to spend time with and guided me to her favorite spots on our walks. I was left with detailed instructions on how to care for the house, Nora, and lots of ideas on what to see and do, plus where to have a good meal. I chose to get around D.C. by bicycle and there was a Capital Bikeshare rack close by their place where I could select a classic three-speed bike or an e-bike. I would highly recommend applying for a sit here if one becomes available.
We had a great house sit for Sheree, Mary Margaret, and Dora. Their home is modern, clean, peaceful and well organized for house sitters. We enjoyed using the beautiful in-ground pool during the hot weeks of August. The house is located within easy driving distance to some of the best shopping, dining, and entertainment in Austin. Dora is a shy, sweet, little kitty that is low maintenance and easy to watch. Within a few days, Dora will warm up to you, looking for pets and treats. Sheree and Mary Margaret provided a thorough walk through of their home and were very responsive and helpful with any questions. We would highly recommend this house sit and hope that our travel plans enable us to house sit again in the future.
