We are very grateful to Geoff and Tess for the trust in giving us the opportunity to care for their beautiful dogs in their absence. Geoff and Tess are wonderful hosts and real dog lovers. It was a very rewarding experience to be with your dogs these days, each of them, left us very beautiful memories that we will carry forever with us. We would also like to congratulate you for the incredible work they have been doing for so many years to home, many many stray dogs (over 650!!), rescued from abandon. A very demanding and time-consuming task but gratifying with each dog that is getting the home and the love they deserve. Our stay was very comfortable and we appreciated the meetings with the family and that Geoff and Tess went out of their way to make us feel welcome! We spent lovely times with the lunches and dinners with your beautiful family and would certainly remain in contact. We appreciated included us during the festival period. Your house is lovely, modern and spacious. Having the luxury of your closeby dog-field to walk the dogs, is a luxury in Malta, that is commendable! Geoff and Tess, you made our stay very easy as everything is organized and were very well explained especially the routines, which facilitated our and the dog's adaptation to us!! Thanks again for Geoff who spent the time to show us around the tourist areas of beautiful Malta!! We hope to return and will stay in contact!!
This was a very enjoyable sit! Kate was easy to communicate with and left detailed instructions. Kate's home was lovely and in an excellent location in the east end of Ottawa. Tigermouse was a pleasure to look after and a gorgeous, friendly cat. We became great friends. I highly recommend this house/catsit.
we arrived the evening before, and we’re greeted by Aaron and Bridget and sweet Sophie. The home was immaculate. Our guest bedroom and bathroom was very very comfortable. We really enjoyed caring for Sophie and she did a great job showing us around the park and dog park adjacent to the building. We were able to take her on several walks around Streetervilleand enjoy the lakefront and all the different restaurants and shops in the area. During our sit we visited the art Institute and several good restaurants we were able to walk everywhere from the apartment. Great host, great pets, great sit.
This was our first time in Dornoch and we had a great time! Alison and Eric are a lovely, generous couple who welcomed us to their home with tasty soup and home made bread. They also invited us to try fruit and veg from their garden, which were delicious! Their house is in a picturesque location with superb views across to the sea making for some stunning sun rises. It was Brodie who stole the show though, such a cutie! He was easy to care for and often let us know what he wanted. He is not a lap cat but loves being close by and keeping an eye on what is going on. We would happily return to look after Brodie and Alison's and Eric's house.
This was our first sit for Trusted Housesitters, and wow, did we get lucky! Libby and James (both thoughtful, generous and welcoming), were super organised with communication, and cooked a delicious meal the night we arrived so we could ask any questions and meet the adorable Jemima. Libby left guides to Guildford and a 'handbook' in the house with all the info we needed. The house is spacious, spotlessly clean and quiet, despite being 5 minutes from Guildford's High Street. And the star attraction – Jemima! She's easygoing and independent, but sweet and affectionate, with an instant purr who loves company and a good chin scratch. We both miss her already, and hope we get to hang out again. Heartfelt thanks to Libby, James and Jemima for a perfect sit in Guildford!
It was a true delight to look after Winston who is such a calm and loving soul. He is truly a distinguished gentleman of a Labrador, a pleasure to sit with and enjoy the World Cup. We also enjoyed our short but frequent walks around the garden and the local paths. He won't let you forget it is time for food as he will pace and follow you, behaving like a hungry teenager, he certainly brought me a few smiles and laughs. Reminded me of an ol' companion of mine. Stratford Upon Avon is really close so it was lovely to pop in and soak up the atmosphere of this historic setting. I had a really lovely time here and Sue and Rob were so lovely, they made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you.
