This was my first Sit. Denise and Bob are really considerate, made me dinner and invited me to stay the night before they left. This was greatly appreciated as they gave me confidence for my first sit. They have a beautiful and comfortable home, unique in style and on the outskirts of a lovely village. The surrounding area is beautiful . Rudi ( doggo) is super smart, very cool ( greets every human he meets in a very gentlemanly fashion) and a delight to join for longer walks or his well trodden routes. Splodge the cat is a very purry old lady and she and I enjoyed each others company . I loved the peace and quiet and country walks.
We had a lovely time caring for Marj's home and especially her three pups. Bella, Busta and Mr. Bean. They all have such fun and distinct personalities and are very well behaved and easy to care for. Besides twice daily walks around the neighborhood, which we all enjoyed, responsibilities included giving Bella lots of ear rubs, Mr. Bean lots of belly rubs and Busta loving all over. The rest of the time they are happy to sleep (except for meal time!) and just be close by. Marj provided clear instructions for the house and pets which were greatly appreciated. She took us out for a wonderful dinner our first night in town and gave us additional suggestions on where to go and what to do in the area but since her lovely home is located directly on Biscayne Bay we had little reason to leave the house. We preferred to spend our time hanging out with the dogs and admiring the views. The house is for sale and was shown by a realtor a few times during our stay but we were always given plenty of advance notice and they were completely unobtrusive. We would highly recommend taking care of Marj's home and the three Bs, we miss those pups already!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Megan's. The kitties were super fun to play with and warmed up to us fairly quickly. Megan's house is comfortable and in a fun Portland neighborhood.
Henry is such a personable cat, it was great to spend time with him and Blackie in Sean’s home. They left detailed instructions and were only a text away!
From the moment we arrived, Amalie and Alex made us feel right at home in their beautiful and comfortable home. Their home was cozy and well-appointed, with all the amenities we could need. The location couldn't have been any better. Lots of parks, shops and pubs on our doorstep. The dogs of course were the highlight of our stay. Raea and Graham were such characters. So cute and well-behaved. We enjoyed taking them for walks, to coffee shops/pubs and alot of cuddles throughout. Very well behaved. Lovely hosts and adorable dogs!
Joanna and Raheem were very welcoming hosts and truly invested dog owners. They were quick to reply to all messages, flexible and understanding humans, and gave clear instructions prior to leaving. Merci was a delight and so full of SO much energy. Truly a sweet and loving dog who wants to be out and play all day. This sit is best for someone that can offer a lot of time to help Merci stay active and spend her energy. The home has an amazing view and a fantastic park at its doorsteps for walking Merci. With tons of cafes steps away, easy to enjoy life and give Merci lots of attention.
