We just completed a very relaxing sit for Frank and Sherri and their adorable crew of kitties. It took no time at all for these beautiful boys to warm up to us once we had settled in. They especially liked hanging out with us when we lounged in the living room while reading or watching TV and administering kitty brushings and chin scratches. One of the things we appreciated the most is how well the house is set up to easily take care of the kitties and allow them to play safely in the fenced backyard. In addition to great organization, it’s a gorgeous, comfortable home with many lovely amenities. This house is in one of the newer up-and-coming neighborhoods of Denver that features plenty of interesting restaurants and shops. There wasn’t enough time to try them all in our short 10-day visit, but the recommendations provided by Frank and Sherri helped us to choose several great ones. We also enjoyed the close proximity to Berkeley Lake. When we weren’t out and about experiencing the offerings of the neighborhood, we were more than happy to stay in this beautiful and spacious house with a spectacular view of the mountains. Our favorite end of the day activity was to enjoy a glass of wine on one of several decks while watching the sun go down behind the mountains, before settling in to watch a movie in the downstairs theater room. Frank and Sherri are amazing hosts, very warm and welcoming, communicative and available. Their information and instructions were detailed and well-organized. This was a thoroughly enjoyable sit that we hope to do again!

Olive and Ivy, the kittens were what everyone expects from young cats - playful, curious and fun. They have a cat flap so are able to go in and out by themselves during the day but liked to stick around when we were home to make sure we weren’t getting up to any mischief. They were fed wet food morning and evening with a bowl of dry food to graze during the day and boy did they know when it was feeding time! Both liked company, but not too much. Bella’s home is lovely, on three floors so lots of stairs. The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of counter space and a huge table to sit around and plan that days adventure. There is a toilet on each floor. We used the shower on the middle floor which was powerful. Our bed was very comfortable. There was lots of drawer and wardrobe space. Communication with Bella was excellent. We didn’t actually meet but had a very comprehensive online discussion where she showed us where everything was and we met the kittens. Nothing was left to chance. Bella lives in the outskirts of Oxford with parking outside her home. There is a regular bus service into the city which we took advantage of on numerous occasions. The largest supermarket is about ten minutes drive away. We even took the high speed train into London for the day. We had two grandchildren with us who had never been to London so it was a huge adventure for the boys. Thank you Bella for choosing us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to look after Ivy and Olive again.
