Prior to our ‘sit’ being confirmed we had a virtual guided tour of Ruth and Alex’s lovely home. Included in this was our first introduction to the adorable Dexter and Stanley. A couple of weeks before our actual ‘sit’ Ruth kindly sent us a comprehensive guide to all the practical things we needed to know which was really helpful. On arrival, Alex & Ruth made us feel very welcome and at home. They had prepared a selection of lovely Yorkshire produce for us to enjoy along with a bottle of wine and some Pizza. Everything was delicious! We also had a choice of bedroom including en-suite and a tour of their beautiful home and gardens. Altogether, we then took a walk with Dexter and Stanley to their favourite park area which was delightful – a lovely introduction! We would highly recommend this sit, Ruth and Alex were fantastic hosts, Dexter and Stanley were so well mannered, entertaining, very loving and clever dogs whom we took great pleasure in their company. What a fantastic sit! Tracey and Sharon were wonderfully detailed and Milo, Jackson and Lucy were a pleasure to spend time with! It is a great area close to everything and one of the best parts was taking Milo down to River Park to walk along the water. I am so grateful for my time in Hixson and highly recommend this sit because I enjoyed myself very much and the animals were perfectly behaved!!
