Marion was absolutely amazing, so were Irisi and Squinty. Despite Irisi being a little sick during our sit which was probably more challenging for her than for me, this still was a wonderful experience that I'd do again.

Irisi, despite taking a little time to warm up to new people, is absolutely a sweet heart when she does. When I first met her she would do a silent little snarl at me warning me not to pet her as I so wanted to do, because she is ADORABLE. We'd get compliments all the time on the street when we'd go out, she is really that cute. The kind of dog you just want to squeeze and hold. However, she has some defenses up likely due to her past before Marion lovingly adopted her (this is my guess, not 100% sure). This, combined with her cloudy vision, makes her understandably vigilant of sudden movements and loud sounds. Regardless, within a day of me staying at the apartment, she was following me from room to room, clearly craving attention and love. She still snarled at me from time to time if I moved suddenly, but she was absolutely a sweetheart and a joy to be around. She was taking many medications, and I really felt for her, because some of them were hard to get down. Her meds also require vigilance with timing. A couple days into the sit she had diarrhea which lasted a couple days, and then again a few days later. Life happens. She was still lovable and it was worth it.

Squinty, the cat, is also adorable. He will tolerate being held, but he really likes being petted and sometimes cozying up to you. He is very low maintenance and I tried to give him lots of attention because Irisi was getting so much because of her condition. He will wake you up early AM... be warned. But being a morning person isn't such a bad thing!

The apartment is great, absolutely well designed and re-done and equipped with the best kitchen equipment, the nicest bathroom tiles, on and on and on. Marion clearly has an eye for design and it's very well done. It is on the 6th floor without an elevator, so know that you will develop fitness carrying little Irisi up and down the stairs. But you really get used to it, and it's standard in so many buildings in the city.

Finally, as mentioned, Marion is so nice and easy to work with. She is simultaneously attentive to her pets, providing very clear written directions about their care, and also easygoing and forgiving. At one point I caused some black spots on a pot (a really, really nice pot) she had because of leaving it on the heat, and I felt terrible. She was very forgiving about that, as well as a misunderstanding I had with a supplement about Squinty. She has a very big heart, which is clear from how close she is with her neighbors and how she interacts with her whole community. When I came she gifted me some tomatoes from her garden (amazing!), and also when I left, which was so sweet.

All in all this was a very wonderful, heart-warming sit which I was lucky to have done.

Vivian and Dave were such lovely people. They welcomed us into their home with open arms and even surprised us with some vegan treats when we arrived.

Stella, Gus and J were such delightful and colourful characters who kept us thoroughly entertained during our entire stay. We loved looking after them, playing with them and taking them for walks. Our time spent with them will stay with us for a long time. We will miss them dearly.

Vivian and Dave's home was such a lovely space to spend a month and super warm and comfy during the snowy Calgary winter. It's in a great location with a gorgeous view over the Glenmore reservoir. We spent much time admiring the beautiful view and scenery.

We would definitely house sit for Vivian and Dave again and encourage anyone who has the opportunity to do so. You won't be disappointed!

Thanks again, Vivian and Dave for the wonderful opportunity to house and pet sit for you.

I had a lovely time in Charlotte's home in Wimbledon Park over Christmas. "Rufella" are two of the most fun and cuddly cats. Communication and sleeping arrangements were top notch. Thank you, Charlotte!

This pet sitting was a dream experience. Two lovely pets to adore and care for. Bunia is full of energy and the most friendly puppy to all around her, be it human or fellow animal. She was a major attraction wherever we went. Milka is not only a beauty, but also very serene and loving. She has soulful eyes and a gentle purr that is so precious and soothing.
The home is lovely with all modern amenities. It is situated so close to London busses and 2 train stations. Very convenient. Monika was very responsive with communication, and I felt very privileged to have this pet sitting.

Petsitting for Phoebe, a very happy, 14-month-old Labradoodle, and Edna, a sweet and fluffy cat, in Revere Beach, MA, was an absolute delight.

Upon my arrival, Kaden and Elizabeth, the owners, greeted me warmly, taking the time to provide a thorough overview of the pets' routines and preferences. They graciously toured me around their impeccably clean and well-equipped apartment, highlighting the great amenities the building had to offer, ensuring that I had everything needed for a successful stay. Kaden was consistently responsive to any inquiries I had, and I made it a point to provide them with daily updates, keeping them informed and alleviating any concerns.

The apartment, situated in a secure building in the heart of Revere Beach, boasted an excellent location. Its proximity to restaurants and the convenience of deliveries (a luxury not enjoyed in my small town in Georgia) added to the overall positive experience.

The pleasant surroundings and the building's safety measures provided an extra layer of comfort.

Phoebe, full of boundless joy and energy, made our daily walks and visits to the dog park highlights of the day. It seemed that everyone in the dog park, the building, and even on the street knew and adored Phoebe. Her social nature added a delightful dimension to our time together.

On the other hand, Edna, the serene and fluffy older cat, enjoyed quiet cuddles on the couch, rewarding me with her soft purrs. She was content to sit beside me while I read, creating peaceful moments of companionship. The contrast between Phoebe's exuberance and Edna's tranquility added a unique and harmonious balance to the petsitting experience.

Overall, the Revere Beach petsitting experience was not only smooth and well-organized but also a genuinely enjoyable opportunity to form bonds with two wonderful animals.

This was my first pet sit via Trusted House Sitters (although I have been cat sitting for my friends for years). It was a last minute booking; I was surprised when I arrived at what a lovely house I would be staying in! Everything was very clean, cosy and spacious at the same time. Great location and of course the main feature was their fluffy black cat, who was very chatty and friendly, who loved attention!
