This was a perfect house sit! Alison was great at communicating and Guy is a very sweet pup. Alison was kind to let me, my partner, and our dog stay at her beautiful historic home. She picked us up from the train station, as well. Guy is really easy to take care of and a kind, gentle soul! He goes out for a quick pee before breakfast and a short walk after breakfast. Alison has a fenced in yard, so it's a breeze to let Guy out for a few potty breaks during the day. Then a longer walk and dinner in the evening. Guy is a bit slow to warm up and he hangs out upstairs in one of the bedrooms, but by the end of the sit, he enjoyed spending time with us in the living room. He was also very gentle with our small dog and easy to walk on leash. I highly recommend Alison and Guy!
I have spent some incredible days at Jorge's house. It is a beautiful place, very clean and well maintained. I took care of CHICA, his beautiful cat, and everything was wonderful. I would love to do it again. Jorge is very attentive and also speaks Spanish, so it was very easy for me to communicate. Thank you for trusting me as a pet sitter! Highly recommended!
I really enjoyed this sit! Katarina has a lovely family and a beautiful, comfortable home. The kitties are easy to care for. I didn’t get to spend much time with Amy, as she liked being outside most of the day, but the few times we interacted she was very sweet and approachable. Louie and I quickly bonded and he was my constant companion, sitting on the couch close to me whenever I was working or watching TV, or laying his head on my lap or stretching a paw across me. Such a sweetie! He’s still in his playful kitten stage, but is definitely able to relax and stretch out for a good belly rub, and he purrs a lot. The house is in walking distance of a supermarket, bakery, and a fantastic doner kebab restaurant. It is also very close to the tram stop which brings you downtown. I hope I get an opportunity sometime to do another sit for them.
Angie was very welcoming and made me feel like part of her family. Instructions were thorough, and Xoe and Biz were absolute pleasure to be with. I enjoyed my stay and time with pets and would definitely visit again if I get another chance.
We really enjoyed sitting 3-year-old Dotti, she is such an affectionate and well-mannered dog. We went for hikes in the area and she showed us the way! Lauren was very communicative and flexible to our schedule. Lauren’s home was all setup for our sit, very clean, food in the fridge and lots of tips on the best places in beautiful S Lake Tahoe. Despite this housesit being short in terms of time (just 3 days) it was a wonderful one and I'm already looking forward to meet up with Lucho, Sebas and of course, Wally, again. Since minute one, when we spoke over the phone, Lucho and Sebas were more than receptive to all of my needs and questions regarding the sit. They were also flexible regarding dates and time, and assured me everything could be arranged. When we met in person, it was exactly the same as over the phone. Even with just a few hours before they left, we managed to share lunch together (being all latin helped, I must say), talk a little bit about ourselves and our travels. For me it's always nice being able to know a little bit about the owners aside from the pet/pets. It's one of the beautiful things of these platforms, they allow you to make long-lasting connections throughout the world. Regarding Wally, he's one of a kind. Despite being 7 years, he has the youth and energy of a 1 year old. Full of afection, he'll always be up to any plan, as long as it's with you. Watching a movie? Sure, leave me a space on the bed. Going out for long walks (France and all the way over)? Yeah mate, just take my water and food and we'll be fine. Family cooking? I can't say no to a fine piece of carrot. It's been a few days and I'm already missing him. Trust me, if you give this sit an opportunity he'll find for sure a place in your heart which will never be empty again. Regarding the house, it's just everything you can ask for. Well located, spacious, fully equiped. You'll feel at home inmediately and enjoy some me (or us) time watching tv on the bed, having lunch in the living room or just sipping some coffee over the balcony. In addition to all of this, you are at walking distance from every major part of the city, being able even to cross to France and Germany on foot. Of course you also have the trams if they seem like a better option. My sit there was wonderful, and even though I had to leave too early the next day, I really appreciate the time spent with Wally, but also with Lucho and Sebas.
