I enjoyed staying with Frank and Moo in Portland. They kept their distance at first but opened up over the sit and came out to play a few times. Taryn was quickly responsive to questions and the home was comfortable and clean. Thanks for having me!
We enjoyed our sit in Naples in Elaine & Roger's spacious house in a quiet area. The pool was very welcome & the kitchen is spacious. Lots of sitting areas, so it was very comfortable. They had thoughtfully provided a hanging rail and drawer space, a tip for 1 or 2 other house-owners :-) They made us welcome, as did their cat Bimini. Recommended and we'd definitely sit again.
Watching Blanca and Chase was very enjoyable, and I can highly recommend this sit to others. They are sweet elderly dogs, fun on walks, love being pet and getting attention, and even playful at times. They are easy to watch as they’re outside during the day enjoying the sunshine and the shade, on their beds, the patio, or the dirt. They were always happy to see me, and always happy to go on their daily walk. This was Kirt and Val’s first sit on Trusted Housesitters, and they’re a great fit for it. They are friendly, warm, and inviting and made sure I had all the information I needed to take care of the “kids” while being reachable by phone or message. I met Kirt and the dogs weeks before the sit as I was in the area on another sit, then Kirt and Val had me over for a meal a couple days before the sit. Both times I went on walks with the dogs to get familiar with their free roaming habits and ranges. Val did an amazing kindness and marked the path they take to an arroyo, so I would know where to go - incredibly thoughtful! The house is spacious yet cozy with gorgeous views and a large kitchen enjoyable for cooking. Their house cleaner comes every two weeks which was 2 days into the sit, and the house was sparkly and clean when she left and very easy to clean at the end of sit. I had a spot in the attached garage because they took a car to the airport - so convenient with unloading and loading stuff. Guests were welcomed so my sister and niece drove down from Colorado for the weekend and both dogs loved the extra hands for pets. A lovely sit with great dogs in a beautiful location! I highly recommend!
Lovely sit in Sloans Lake with Miss Basil, she was a total sweetheart and very mellow. The house is in a great location just off of Sloans Lake so it was nice being walking distance to many nice places. Great stay and sweet pupper 😊
