I can't recommend Alma highly enough. She was the fourth cat sitter we've used from the site. Alma watched our shy, skittish cat Oscar for seven days. She was extremely responsive and communicative, before and during the sit. We received regular updates from her while we were gone and felt very reassured that Oscar was well taken care of. It seemed like she went above and beyond to ensure Oscar felt comfortable. He usually hides for a few days when he's with a new person, but was immediately comfortable while she was here which has never happened before. She also left our place in perfect condition. We really trust Alma and would be happy to serve as a reference for her in the future.

Ruth was amazing! She took care of our 4 cats while we went away for a long weekend. We had a call before confirming and we immediately liked her. She sent pictures and was in contact with us. The flat was also very clean when we came back and the cats were clearly taken care of. We would love to have her in our home again :)

Patricia took care of my cats for two weeks while I was on vacation. I have to admit that I left over stressed as our first impact at my place was not so positive for multiple reasons. Despite that, she took care of my cats in an impeccable way and they were relaxed and happy once I came back. I will recommend her mostly for shorter-term periods :)

Stina and Nico were brilliant house and pet sitters. They took excellent care of our 4 year old golden retriever, Bonny, and gave her a really lovely time. They also kept her beautifully groomed and cared for and she looked better than ever when we came home. They were very efficient and kept in touch regularly. They also looked after the house well and it was impressively clean and tidy when we came home, even though we had said they didn't need to clean. They are responsible, cheerful and kind, and altogether delightful. Elvis, their dog, is charming and he and Bonny got on very well. We would be delighted for them to come back and housesit for us again.

We would recommend Christine for anyone looking for a sitter. She handled our dog and rabbits very well, went on great walks and hikes with our dog and cared well for the rabbits. She has a clear love for animals and communicated well throughout the sit.

Anna was a wonderful house sitter. She bonded with our cat Finn immediately, he was on her lap having cuddles very shortly after she arrived. She has a natural affinity with animals and I felt very comfortable knowing Finn was in safe hands while my partner and I were away over the Xmas period. Anna kept us regularly updated during her stay, sharing photos of Finn, which was much appreciated. Our home was lovely and clean when we arrived home, exactly as we had left it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Anna to others looking for a home/pet sitter and would definitely have her look after Finn and our home again.

Lola was simply fantastic. Our doggie, June, fell madly in love with her and has been a bit mopey after her departure so we are hoping she plans to visit us in the near future. :> Our chameleon who is never cozy with anyone except me found a friend in Lola and even came out of his perch to hang out on her arm so for us that was a true sign that Lola is indeed an animal whisperer whose special attributes extend not only to kitties and doggies but also to reptiles! Our house was spotless when we returned and our sheets were all clean and ready to go. All our animals were happy, well fed and as I said earlier completely in love with Lola. If we could give 10 stars in a 5 star review we would give them all to Lola. Pleasant, friendly, on time, reliable, conscientious, warm, caring---just the perfect pet sitter you could ever hope for.

It was lovely to have Jana and Urs in our home. They took good care of Oliver and sent regular updates. They seemed very patient with him and he warmed up nicely. We also came home to a very tidy home and a nice box of cookies left for us. I would not hesitate to invite them back.

Amazing!  Everything is amazing!   Dave and Sherry- the babies-the home and all the friendly neighbors.  You will fall in love with these two fur balls. They’re so so sweet and lovable. We had fun playing catch.  I travel alone, and these two are great companions I gave me lots of love and puppy kisses—I miss their cuddles.   If you have the opportunity to sit for Dave and Sherry, I highly recommend you except and I know you will be happy and leave feeling very blessed.

A beautiful stay in the Minnesota north woods!  Barkley and Bear were wonderful hosts - taking us for walks, swims in the lake and playing fetch. Toby and Bentley made daily appearances- mostly to let us know it was time to eat!  Thank you Sandy and Richard for sharing your home with us.

Donna and I started off with a bit of miscommunication but it was easily remedied.  Her home is in a great area.  It's in a charming village that is a quick and easy bus ride to downtown Portland.  And her yard truly is like having your own private park, but the maintenance was minimal.  Buddy is wonderful: loving, easy to care for and well-behaved.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house-sit.
