A wonderful sit from start to finish. John and his wife Marie were really accommodating towards my travel plans and gave me very thorough instructions on everything I needed to know prior to the sit as well as during. Both cats were very well behaved. Crapule was a little more shy and reserved at first but opened up quickly and enjoyed sitting next to me and being pet. Melo was a lot more social from the get go and loved pets and cuddles. She’d come snuggle up in bed with me every night, it was the sweetest thing! The house and location were also lovely and the perfect base from which to work from remotely. Thanks to their many recommendations I got to enjoy the best the area had to offer. I highly recommend them and would love to sit for them again in the future!
Liz is such a wonderful host. She was very hospitable during the short time that we spent together before she left. She was very responsive when I had questions, and was really helpful by sharing some of her favorite attractions and restaurants in the area. Fela is so adorable, and is a complete love bug. He wants a lot of attention, and I was so glad to give it to him! I also enjoyed our chats, as he's a very chatty Kitty haha. The location of the apartment is ideal, as it's in very short proximity to amenities like supermarkets and, convenience stores. Safeway down the street actually bakes fresh croissants in their bakery! The neighborhood is very walkable and I felt safe while I was there. This was a great place to house it, and I would love to do it again in the future!
Jane and Michael are lovely, friendly and very welcoming. We went over for dinner the night before the sit to meet them both and the very cute Bruno! The house is in a lovely quiet street with nature across the road and a big golf course down the road. The house has plenty of space, everything you could want/need (including a pool) Bruno is really cute, engaging and well trained. He is easy to hang out with, easy to take for walks and a pleasure to be around. He caught a cough while we were looking after him and Jane was very supportive, understanding and easy to communicate with to follow the best steps to make sure Bruno would be okay Despite the concerns with Bruno’s cough, we really enjoyed the sit, would definitely sit for Jane and Michael again and would recommend the sit to other house-sitters without hesitation
Dodger, Daisy and Duke were simply gorgeous! These very well-natured and loving pups kept us company throughout our stay in Aletia and Nick's stunning home. With a handy few acres to play with the labs, cosy and high tech interior and very comfy bed, we loved this house/petsit - not to mention stunning sunsets and peaceful surroundings. We miss the Ds a lot and are very grateful to Aletia and Nick - thanks guys and we hope to come again soon! x
