Chris and Kelly are a delightful couple and Sandy just loved them. They were always right on with the medications that Sandy requires, and also texted questions to make sure. They walked him every day, even after it had snowed. All of the important details about our house including operation of the security system, watering of our plants, the mail, etc. were attended to without an issue. From the daily pictures that were sent to us, we could tell that Sandy had fallen in love with them. We came home to a clean house, with everything spotless. Even the sheets were washed, and the beds remade! We had dinner with them the evening of our return and got to know them better and had lots of great conversations with them. We will be asking Chris and Kelly to sit for us during our next vacation, and we sincerely hope they will accept.

Luanna
This has been my first experience as a pet sitter and it has been incredible. Johnny is very fun and affectionate and makes a lot of company. He loves to play and eat 😆.

Although I didn't know Luanna personally, we were always in touch and she explained everything to me perfectly.

Her home is very cosy and it is in a multicultural and very quiet part of the city.

Thank you, Luanna!❤️

Lisa is a great host. She has a lovely home and was very hospitable to both me and my dog Tank. Izzy was easy to take care of but is definitely an escape artist who doesn’t like being crated or thunder. She got along well with Tank and I enjoyed watching them play.

Helen's house is beautiful with a lovely backyard. It is in a nice location in Katoomba with lots of nice walks nearby. I enjoyed the large kitchen. Lulu and Georgie are an energetic pair, very friendly and it was a lot of fun looking after them.

On the bright side the dogs are sweet and well trained and the house (a compound of three buildings) was as luxurious as the pictures show. Negatives were mainly lax security and noise, day and night. The door from the street had a broken lock which the host said would be fixed "tomorrow" but never was. I was asked to mimic inputting a combination when entering. In addition to staff, property management a tennant and airbnb renters, two groups have keys to the compound, one of which stores their equipment for Sunday morning meetings in the sitter's bedroom. I asked one of the members who has the key and he laughed, saying "whoever needs it." I don't expect AC but windows and bedroom door must be open to circulate air - it does get hot at times. There was loud noise during the day from a next door elementary school that uses a loudspeaker and from children at recess and late into the night from apparently neighbors - the property management person said others have mentioned it. The light that is to be left on in the living room (a separate building) shines into the bedroom and the dog door used by the dogs that are left outside at night is also next to the bedroom and noisy. If you are in San Miguel during the San Miguel festival there will be explosives going off until 2-3AM. Not just firecrackers. More like M-80s loud. The sitter's shower had a slow drain and the toilet had a minor leak so I called the property management company but the host said she would deal with it after returning. Centro -- where Parroquia, shops and ATMs that worked for me are - is not really walking distance for many people. I did learn to hop on the bus or take a cab.

Ivy
Fantastic sit! Ivy and family are great communicators. We felt very prepared coming into the sit. Their home is very lovely and cozy. They went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable, including kindly offering to let us use their paddle boards and hot tub. The area of St Pete was very quiet and charming. Chickpea was an absolute joy to sit. Incredibly self sufficient and INCREDIBLY sweet. We loved taking her for walks and cuddling her at night. A great experience with Ivy, Mike and Chickpea in all ways!

Claire and Stephen welcomed us warmly with a delicious evening meal before they left early for their travels. They guided us round their lovely, comfortable, spacious property which has inspirational views over the Kent High Weald. They introduced us to Mabel and Reggie who are the most delightful, well trained Cockerpoos and showed the lovely local walks through the agricultural fields surrounding the property which the dogs love. We became very fond of Mabel & Reggie as we explored the Kent countryside on well marked footpaths such as the High Wield Landcape Trail which runs through the village. A very special stay with the added bonus of a hot tub which was most welcome after some longer walks and cycle rides. Thankyou Claire & Stephen.
