CELINE
The perfect housesit! Pato is the most amazing, human-like dog we have ever encountered. He is so loving and needs cuddles at all times, extremely obedient and everyone who meets him just loves him. Vorno is a fantastic slice of countryside, very quiet and picturesque. Celine was a fantastic host! Full of life and energy and always had a smile on her face. We instantly clicked and we know we have a friend for life. Couldn’t recommend this housesit more!

Cup of tea and a biscuit time as I don't do short reviews.....

This pet sit was definitely one of my most enjoyable, even with not so good weather. The reason being is the dogs are just lovely. I seek out rural pet sits with well trained dogs and I nailed it here!
Just the two dogs now, Solo is the older dog who runs around like a youngster still, she is affectionate and stayed pretty close to me most of the time in the home. Loki is the younger of the two and runs for miles, again she is affectionate also, but will go off to her bed at times.
Both dogs are clearly much loved family pets and trained working dogs as well. I did not need to put the dogs on leads on their runs out in the owners fields, they did not once look at the sheep in one of the fields. They are instantly responsive to the whistle. On an evening they would chill out with me in the living room on their designated places to lie, then come over to me for strokes as and when they wanted.

The home and location are both just lovely, the large garden is beautiful. The bedroom assigned to me was very spacious and the bed comfortable, the room has an ensuite bathroom. My welcome gifts were very much appreciated. The whole house is a home, lived in and loved and I felt extremely comfortable to be there, the house was very clean on my arrival. I also felt very safe and secure in the home and the rural area as a solo female visitor. The Internet was solid at all times, so ideal for a remote worker. The TV package was excellent too, with all the streaming services available.

I met Bille over a face to face call before the sit was agreed, and she was very chilled out. I met Andrew as well when I arrived for the sit, both are warm people and made me feel very welcome.

In summary.....
The dogs are a doddle to look after, both eat, toilet, exercise and sleep well.
The home and location are spot on.
The owners are chilled out and welcoming.
Definitely a sit to recommend to any future sitters.

Pedro and I had a very relaxing week together in this beautiful home, up on top of a mountain, in a great location. Pedro is a very sweet boy- we got into a routine of me petting him every morning while I drink my tea and then he slept all day while I worked or relaxed, and more snuggles at night. The electric bed with the flat screen TV next to it, the deck, the weather, and the peaceful space made me happy. I would definitely watch Pedro again in the future if schedules match up.

Nikki
Cate and Nikki and their son Ben are lovely people and made me very welcome. The house sitter basement accommodation was exceptional, especially the modern new shower room which I was the first to use! Upstairs there was also the well equipped main kitchen/diner and homely living room. The sunny weather meant it was a real treat to sit in the garden and relax. Chorlton itself is only a short stroll away. Finn and Jasmine are very affectionate dogs. Extra care must be taken with Jasmine as she is blind. Finn loves nothing better than to chase a ball and have a paddle in nearby Chorlton and Sale Water Parks. A very pleasant local walk is also possible from the house in the direction of the tram line and then on to a disused railway nature path. Oscar the tomcat is really cute and loveable. Thanks again for an enjoyable stay!

Had an amazing time at Jo’s with her lovely pets! The house was very nice and the nearby parks/walks were great. Jo and Paul were very welcoming and communicated the essential details to me very clearly. Would highly recommend their house sit!
