I have lost track of the number of years my dog has been cared for by Jenny and the amazing Walking Woofs team. This is the second of my dogs I have entrusted to the Walking Woofs team. Throughout those years my dog has been cared for with unconditional kindness and utmost consideration and she has been much loved, like their own. She’s been walked 4 or 5 times a week, had a small stint at doggy daycare and she’s also been to Jenny and a host boarder to cover a few holidays. My dog is a bit of diva and has some quirky ways, but all the walkers/hosts have taken the time to know her little ways and give her the love and affection that I have come to expect from the team. In addition to the exceptional care and consideration afforded to the dogs, the team extend this to the owners too. Jenny has worked incredibly hard to develop this business and as I have watched it grow, I have seen all of the measures she consistently puts in place to ensure the dogs are in the best possible hands, while having the time of their lives. And they most definitely do have the time of their lives. I think the awards she has won speak for themselves. I feel grateful to know that my now senior dog, with the challenges that ageing brings, is in the best hands. Jenny and the team will adapt her walks to suit her requirements whether that be a group walk, a walk around the block or a sofa day and cuddles. I go to work safe in the knowledge that her life is enriched thanks to the team. Keep up the amazing work, your loyal owners and canine friends love you loads and are grateful for the love and care you give.

We use walking woods for daycare and boarding of our 2 beagles. They are absolutely fantastic. They treat the dogs like family and we have peace of mind that our dogs are safe and happy whilst they are with them. Our dogs are always so excited to go to daycare each week and we love seeing the photos of what they have been up too! The whole team are amazing! We highly recommend them!

Jenifer came to the rescue at last minute for us as we were new to the area and the dog walker we booked through an internet portal let us down. Grand parents were animal sitting for us but long walks couldn’t be done by them so a walker was needed, they said Buster cried for Jenifer everytime she dropped him back off obviously because he had had such an amazing time with her. Many thanks again Jenifer we will be booking again.

Highly recommend Jenny and her team, they go above and beyond, providing exceptional dog care, whilst also doing their very best to be flexible to support the needs of owners. I have used all 3 of their services and my dog always comes home well exercised, happy and content. It is very reassuring to know that she can be left in safe and trusting hands!

Short version: Absolutely fantastic! Detailed version: I followed a few companies before we got our dog, and Walking Woofs quickly became our top choice because we could see from their social media they really care about the dogs in their care. They're not just dog sitters/walkers/guardians, they know about the dogs, they do a range of activities, they keep them engaged, and they educate on dog care - I was sold when I spotted a post about dogs gaining winter weight, and it wasn't just a notice, it was explaining how to check and monitor your dogs weight yourselves. That level of care for the dogs is exactly what we wanted. They have exceeded expectations - our dog's favourite day is any day with the team either daycare or boarding (she hasn't done walks yet, but we know multiple others that go out with them, and they all sing their praises). She runs straight to them whenever we're near, and at the end of the day is ready to go home and relax (literally passes out on the sofa, is too tired to run up the stairs to the house, it's wonderful). The team are friendly, flexible and approachable. Walking Woofs are not a company, they are a pack that we are now part of and I am so grateful for them!

I would highly recommend Walking Woofs to anyone! They make me feel at ease with how accommodating they are even with a challenging pup. Even when they have no spaces left for boarding when we go away they have always found a caring replacement who would! Wouldn’t take our dog anywhere else! 🐶🤍 …

We have been delighted at the way our Tibetan Terrier has been looked after and cared for by all members of the WW team. Every Time we collect her from day care we can tell she has had a fun day with the other dogs and is very happy. We have valued getting to know the staff too, everyone is very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and caring toward both pets and their owners

The ultimate in dog boarding and doggy day care services! We are so happy to have found such a fantastic provider. Jenny and family are kind, considerate, knowledgable and competent. They go out of their way to help us out and we couldn’t be more grateful for the top class service they provide. Our dog absolutely loves going to stay and seems a little disappointed to come home! A great place for your dog to be loved and cared for as part of the family. Daycare is great for your dog to socialise safely, have the best play date, and quiet time after all that running around.

Day care is absolutely great! I take 2 of my dogs and they have been amazing in supporting getting them used to other dogs! Couldn’t recommend enough!

My dog is absolutely ecstatic when Nina arrives. He has been so happy and energised to be able to be exercised with his new crew of doggies, especially important when this is currently his only opportunity to be with other dogs. For me they are flexible, reliable and have made a huge difference to my life. They respond at short notice and work around me and my ever changing work pattern and changes week to week. Knowing that on the days I can not take Maverick out for a substantial romp, Nina will take care of this, is far more than a dog walk, for me it’s a guilt free day, worth every penny!

Lex visited our home to re-train my dog who had become aggressive towards other dogs. Within one session, Lex had found a solution. He helped me with training and within a day I had put his advice into practice and it worked! My dog was much calmer and easier to control. There's still some way to go as I need to work hard to reinforce the training but I now feel much more confident in handling difficult situations. So many thanks to Lex - I can highly recommend him.

We adopted Black, an older rescue dog, who had suffered many years of abuse and neglect. He has completed our family but we have all had to adapt and learn things that don't always come naturally. We tried a number of local (French) trainers but nothing seemed to be working... until What's Up Dog! They worked with us remotely via calls, videos and emails and although there's still a long way to go, we can definately see progress 🙂 Nina and Lex are kind, caring and passionate- going above and beyond to help dogs (and owners!) be the best they can be. I recently had a training session with Lex and my 5 month old puppy with the aim to give me some confidence and to check I was on the right path. Lex was so knowledgeable and my puppy responded so well during the session and loved his first time off the lead (something I wouldn’t have had the confidence to do without Lex). The session was so informative and really boosted my confidence, giving me the tools I need to keep the training going at home. I would 100% recommend.

Nina and Lex were fantastic with our little dog, he loved going to them and learnt so much. After our circumstances changed and he was unable to go to them for two weeks they suddenly out of the blue doubled what we agreed to pay and said we shouldn’t of had a dog we couldn’t afford! Then blocked us as we stood our ground. We had previously recommended them to friends who used their services and this is how we have been treated! We will not be recommending them in the future. Not a professional way to treat regular customers especially being a new business. We wish them well in the future.

WhatsUp dog have been walking our dog Blu for the past 3 months and moving Blue from our previous dog walkers was the best thing we have ever done. Our dog blue loves the walks with Nina and Lex and they have helped so much with the training of Blue. Blue is a completely different dog since being with WhatsUp dog. We can't thank them enough for everything they do for blue and us. Hightly recommend them! Best dog walkers we have ever had!

Gold star service through and through. Hollie my Bernese mountain dog absolutely loves her walks with Whatsup dogs. They really are lovely people who care about you and your dog, going above and beyond for you. Flexible, friendly, professional with a personal approach. I honestly couldn't ask for more. Seeing Hollie so excited when Nina arrives is pure joy. Hollie can be shy but they became besties after about 10 mins of their first meeting and the bond grows stronger every time.

Nina is fantastic with my pooch! It's the highlight of his week going out for walks! He's been to the beach! The park the woods!! He's out more than me! Top quality though, very happy with the service, would highly recommend!

Both Ghengis and Bob always come back from their walks with Nina knackered but incredibly happy. It's clear that she has an affinity with animals and I would 100% recommend to anyone that loves their dogs but just doesn't have the time to get out and about with them.

Our dog Billy absolutely loves going to Bev’s for day care, as he gets to spend the day doing his two favourite things - walking and snoozing! We re-homed him last year, and think he had spent a lot of his life being left alone at home for most of the day. Since going to Bev’s, Billy has become much more confident and playful, and his days at day care have helped him to socialise and make lots of doggy friends! Bev is so kind to all the dogs, and her background as a veterinary nurse gives us complete peace of mind. The dogs go out on exciting and varied walks, and can then relax in her comfortable home. We couldn’t ask for anyone better to care for Billy, and would recommend Bev’s services to everyone!

We are so grateful to Beverley and Flora for making Stan’s first stay with them a comfortable and well cared for one. The daily updates, photos and videos were a great comfort while we were away. My spaniel has a wonderful time with Bev, Flora and the daycare dogs. Bev is very caring and clearly puts time & effort into making sure the dogs are well integrated and happy. She takes them on lovely walks, which my active dog loves. Bev also provides videos and photos to show the happy time they are having in the beautiful countryside of South Somerset. I am very pleased with this special and unique service that ensures my dog is exercised, engaged and has an enriched experience. The dogs are well looked after and safe. He comes home after a good day with his friends, tail wagging and happy!!

Bev has visited our cat for the last 10 months on a regular basis and is absolutely excellent. She cares for our cat impeccably well and keeps us updated with WhatsApp photos/videos on every visit. Bev also ensures our home is secure and locked after each visit. Thankfully our pet has not been unwell whilst we have been away, but I am confident that Bev would address any illness issues of our cat swiftly and keep us informed. Thank you for all you do!

Our dog Bertie has a lovely time at daycare with Happy Pets and Paws. Bev makes sure all of the dogs get on well, they have different walks every day and lots of one on one interaction too as they are never in a big group. We also get lots of updates and videos on their walks. Would highly recommend for any daycare or walking services.

For assurance that your dogs and cats are in good hands when you go on holiday then get peace of mind with Bev at Happy Pets and Paws in Ilminster. After many years of excellent, caring attention we would highly recommend Bev. We have cats - at times many cats! - and they really do enjoy staying at home rather than going away for their holiday. They were getting stressed being taken away to holiday homes and then again on the return trip. Bev allows them to remain in their own familiar home in stress free surroundings. We have had cats with a wide range of ages and requirements, including some old timers like us requiring medications, but Bev provides all the care they need. As she is a qualified veterinary nurse, this is an obvious bonus because we know that she will spot if something is not right and will be on hand to sort it out. Bev also keeps us updated while we are away and you can hear the love and attention she provides. We have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who wants a professional, caring and friendly ‘mum’ to keep your pampered ones happy while you are away.

Honey has a fabulous time with Bev and Flora (and the rest of the gang) Bev provides a caring service with excellent communication and is flexible with our working hours. We have used HPP for boarding as well and it is reassuring knowing Honey has so much fun while we are away. We especially like that Bev only accepts well mannered and sociable dogs. Would highly recommend and we intend to continue sending Honey to HPP for many years to come!

Highly qualified, very professional dog Walker and carer. Unhappy that we hadn’t used all of the same commands as she uses, for dog training. Has a very small garden. Own dog and our dog just didn’t click? No idea why. So despite having paid lots of money for a holiday we had to then cancel. When we tried to book again we were rejected. Lots of time wasted as we wanted someone for emergencies and dog free occasions like Weddings . Paid for test visits, and accepted. Then when we needed help we had to start searching all over again. I’m disabled and have limited mobility so this was a big problem.

My dog has been going to Happy Pets & Paws for daycare for about 7 years now, and still absolutely loves it. Bev provides a very high quality service and always puts the dogs and their welfare first, all whilst being extremely professional and totally reliable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her services.

Barking Mad Taunton found us the perfect host for our two dogs while we had a lovely holiday knowing our dogs were being well cared for. After the distress they suffered after their last time in kennels this is the perfect solution. Will certainly use them again.

Very reliable and friendly dog walker and boarder. Lee provides an excellent pick up and drop off service. Our border terrier is always excited to see Lee and clearly enjoys his days out and overnight stays.

We have been using Jude’s services for our dog Rufus for over a year now and it’s been the best money we’ve ever spent! Rufus loves the walks and he has learnt so much, his recall has improved, his off lead behaviour is far more predictable (he used to run off but no longer does!) and his socialisation with other dogs in the pack has really helped his confidence. We have used Jude's dog walking service for a few months now and it's been the best decision. She took time so that he could get to know her and she could get to know him too. Reggie was still a puppy when he started going and Jude's help and advice with his training has been invaluable too. It's pretty hard to tire a spaniel but he gets so much from his walk that he definitely needs a sleep after! Highly recommend.

Jude has been fantastic and our dog loves her walks. Jude has also helped out several times at short notice to cover when I’m away with work. She is very professional and really took the time to get to know Myla!

Jude came to the rescue at short notice after our cat had a very stressful experience at a local cattery. Jude came and met us in person to go over the care options and to meet our cat ahead of our trip. Whilst we were away our cat thoroughly enjoyed Jude's visits. The contrast in our cat's behaviour between the cattery and Jude's care was unbelievable. We will definitely be using Jude from now on for all our future trips. Five stars!! Thanks Jude

Jude was a life saver, my dog was doing doggy daycare and the owners retired. Jude thankfully saved us and took Missy on 5 days a week! My dog Missy slowly came out of her shell and started to socialise with the dogs more and more. Jude has been brilliant with her, extremely patient and caring. Even with the endless barking! I wouldn’t know what to do with out Jude. She is brilliant and I would recommend her to everyone. She really does care and do fantastic work with the dogs. Thank you Jude x

Jude is so amazing with all the dogs and has THE best program for outings, with a selective hearing, over excited and what was fast becoming an out of control spaniel. Jude was quite literally a life saver and one of the only people I have felt completely relaxed with taking our naughty little cocker out. Within two trips out with Jude we saw such a difference in our dogs general behaviour, but not only that Jude was so supportive and gave us some really brilliant advice to help us with our dogs focus and behaviour. She sends videos and pictures while they are out to share her techniques, so we could continue them at home and it was great to see our dog out and about having a fantastic time, as well as how focused she had become and made us feel apart of everything she does. Would 100% recommend Jude, She’s not just a dog walker.

Jude at Park Life Honiton took care of our cat Dusty whilst we were on holiday. From the first meeting to arrange everything we knew we’d made a good choice. It was great to know our cat was in safe hands for the two weeks we were away. Jude kept Dusty entertained with a “sniffari”, hiding treats around the house and made sure she was safe and well each day. She also sent us photo and video updates which was reassuring to see. I would absolutely not hesitate to use her services again in the future! 🙂

We are really happy that we found Jude's leaflet during a vet visit in Honiton! If the vet recommends Park Life then they must be good, was my initial thought! Woody has been going out with Jude for a few weeks now and I can notice a difference when out and about! I used to love it when he would just run off like the crazy Viszla he is but .... Jude has be showing me via great videos of them how she teaches Woody the importance of being focused on me when out walking rather than every other dog or smell or person. Woody always comes back knackered = result! Highly recommended Park life for safe, fun, interactive walks! Thank you!

We were really worried about leaving our 3 former feral cats for a week. They couldn’t have coped with a cattery and frankly we weren’t sure that most cat sitters would be happy to take them on. However Jude coped beautifully with 2 nervous owners and 3 nervous cats. She was amazingly professional, competent and caring and her twice daily updates were wonderful because we could see they were fine. The most nervous cat was actually more calm after a week of her care due to her ingenious use of bribery (cats treats!) a formula we will be following! She is brilliant and we would unreservedly recommend her services to any pet owner.

We have used Barking Mad with Lucy and Paul for Barney several times. They are punctual, polite, friendly and efficient. We get updates and feedback from Barney’s “foster parents”. Thank goodness for Barking Mad as we couldn’t put him in Kennels and he seems to be a popular guest!

Never usually one to leave reviews however I feel I have exhausted all other communication and feel I have fair grounds to share my experience. I enquired with Lucy regarding boarding as I wanted a safe place and confidence that my babies would be looked after. Lucy was very efficient in getting back in touch and getting a visit booked to come out and see the girls, she even came out on a Sunday (due to cancelling the first appointment due to illness) which I thought was very kind. We went through everything we could and when Lucy left I felt confident I had finally found somewhere to leave my babies when I needed to go away and was unable to take them with me. However after that visit it became almost impossible to get any sort of response from Lucy. She came to do her visit on the 18th February & said she would follow up via email within the next 24 hours with the report for me to check and sign off. I chased Lucy for this 3 days later and got no reply (I could also see she was indeed reading my messages due to read receipt’s being turned on). I then chased another 7 days later, again Lucy read it and did not respond. Finally 11 days later I got an email response (granted Lucy explained she had a couple of things going on personally which I understood and decided to give her the benefit of the doubt). We exchanged a few emails to change a couple of things on the report and also decide on dates to get my babies booked in for a trial, I had one more question to ask which I emailed over before I made the £55 registration fee. I emailed Lucy on the 5th April these enquiries, no response. I chased a response on the 11th April again nothing. I decided to message Lucy via text message to just see if she received my email one day later as I was eager to get everything sorted and booked knowing how busy they can get and Lucy finally responded to say she was out at the time but would respond later that afternoon in which I appreciated and waited patiently. 3 days later again no response so I chased, Lucy yet again read and ignored the message. 1 week later again I chased and low and behold I am still left on read to the day. I have now decided I no longer wish to use Barking Mad Services due to the loss in confidence in their business I have lost faith and confidence that I would actually have any communication at all whilst my babies are away or any sort of updates. Especially since there is a huge lack in communication during the first stage of business. I am a business owner myself and understand life can get in the way however I do make a conscious effort to ensure all enquiries and customers are responded too within 72 hours minimum or at-least keep them in the loop if I know my communication may be reduced. This is the bare minimum and certainly isn’t asking a lot. This is a shame because I thought I had found somewhere finally that was affordable and caring however the poor communication and being ignorant by clearly leaving your customers on read and on numerous occasions has lost you the business, going forward I would turn your read receipt’s off if I was you as this has of course been infuriating to be so clearly ignored.

We have used Barking Mad a number of times now to care for our dog and have always been extremely happy with the service. It is odd passing your much- loved pet into the hands of a stranger, but Lucy and Paul have gone out of their way to personalise it as much as possible and, with both the host homes that our dog has stayed in, we have felt that they know and understand his needs very well. This is based on the thorough paperwork beforehand, which is reviewed each time, as well as Lucy's skilled pairing of dog with host. We feel confident that our dog is being very well cared for and wholeheartedly recommend Barking Mad to others. S and G

We required urgent dog care due to a bereavement. Lucy and Paul were very efficient and quickly had everything in place for our dog Stewart. He had a wonderful time and the photos we received whilst away were very reassuring as was the written feedback we were given when Stewart was returned. We would have no hesitation in recommending Barking Mad and would like to thank Lucy and Paul for all their help and support.

We are so delighted with the service provided by Lucy & Paul, ensuring our young Cocker Spaniel "girls", Jillie & Kara were placed with the right hosts, Lynne and Ray. Clearly, the girls had a wonderful time, and we knew as soon as they came home, how well they had been looked after - thank you Lynne and Ray.We have already booked next years holiday, knowing the "girls" will have a home from home holiday, in every way!!

Always reliable pick up and drop off service. Friendly service with great hosts who provide a "second home". We never worry about our dog whilst we're away. We know she'll be looked after by the hosts as well as we would and we get youtube videos to prove it, which is very reassuring when you're a long way away.

Took great care of our precious dog Freddie and our house for two weeks and we had great communication from start to finish with Running Duck which put us at ease. We were kept up to date with photos and updates which was so lovely. He especially loved his walks and playtime with Glenn, and we could see they had really bonded. They really do look after your pet and home as their own. The house was kept safe, clean and garden watered too which was so appreciated. Having both retired, we planned a once in a lifetime 6 week trip to Australia, but were very anxious about leaving our pets, particularly our dear dog Barley. Jenny juggled schedules in order to fit around our dates, so that Glenn and Mandy were able to cover the whole of the time. They took excellent care of our home, our cat Chip's, and our precious boy, communicating with us regularly via WhatsApp, attaching pics and videos to reassure us.

Glenn & Mandy were excellent pet sitters. They visited us before our trip to meet us and our two spaniels. While we were away they kept in touch with photos & videos. We returned to two happy dogs who had been very well looked after. We have booked Glenn & Mandy again for next year and Jenny for our autumn trip. Highly recommended.

Instantly took to everyone concerned at the Running Duck Pet Services. Jenny is incredible at communicating and arranging cover, and Glenn and Mandy are fabulous with all our pets. We see the delight when they arrive on our Pugs faces, and it's non stop love, care, attention and frolics from the minute they arrive. We are kept up to date with pictures and communication daily whilst we are away. The Running Ducks are our absolute favourites, and they are now part of the family. All of them are such lovely genuine people. Highly recommend, although don't book them up too much please, as we need them free to cover our pets!!!

We would highly recommend Glen and Mandy. Our English Foxhound is a rescue and can get worried when new people first come to the house, so we were a little apprehensive at someone coming to stay. Glen and Mandy kindly came over one morning before the holiday and in no time Buddy was wagging his tail and Glen was his new best friend. From then on, we felt confident that Buddy would be very happy with them and we were right. Just back from holiday and Buddy has had a great week, with lovely walks, games and being spoilt and is his happy, relaxed self. Thank you for understanding our boy.

Glenn and Mandy looked after our 2 dogs and cat for 10 days. One of our dogs takes medication twice daily so it was important to us to feel comfortable with the people looking after them. Straight away Glenn put us at ease, he discussed everything we would need and reminded us of things we had not even considered, ie informing vets etc. We got daily updates from Mandy, enough to ensure our minds were at ease but timed perfectly so as not to bombard us during our time away. Our plants are in better condition than when we left due to Glenn's green fingers. Cannot recommend them enough, and have already booked next year's holiday!

We recently nipped off for some sun, leaving our two Lardy Labs in the very capable hands of Running Duck. This is our second trip since moving to Wiltshire and because Glenn was already booked, George came up from Dartmoor to attend to their every need 😆 We got regular photos of their hikes and chill out sessions, but we never worry about them when away as we know how much love and attention they are showered with. The house is always clean and tidy on our return, which is an added bonus. We would not hesitate to recommend Running Duck for not only your Fur Babies, but your home too.

This was the first time we had left our 2 year old lab overnight and we were apprehensive, mainly due to her suffering occasional seizures and needing daily meds, but from the start Jenny was great, she put our minds at ease. Communication was clear and responses speedy. Skye warmed to Glenn quickly and we have felt confident in booking a holiday for next year, so thank-you Running duck services, we would highly recommend Glenn & Mandy :)

Fantastic pet care!! Pete and Ana are truly wonderful people. They care about your animals as if they were their own! I can go away anywhere in the world for any length of time knowing that my pets are safe, comfy and pampered! One of my dogs is wary of men. Pete is working with her to build her confidence and he is so patient with her. My other dog has a history of absconding, Pete and Ana can read his body language and get him on his lead when and if necessary. They always try and cater to my short notice requests as well. I really can't think of anything negative to say at all. They are fantastic!!

Pete and Ana are fantastic with our two Border Terriers. They are extremely professional but more importantly they love the dogs and the dogs love them. There aren't many other people we trust to look after them. Highly recommended.

Simply THE most professional, considerate and thoughtful dog walkers. We have a slightly problematic hound and Pete and Ana bend over backwards to ensure he is accommodated and they do the same with every other client. I don't know what we would do without them. We have used this service for a while now & have absolutely no problems with how Pete & Ana care for our dogs while in their care...Asha is a large breed dog & has had her issues but with the care & patience she's received by being in their care, she's come on leaps & bounds !
