You could not ask for a more amazing housesit and homeowners. Jim & Katie are absolutely wonderful, their home is gorgeous and they are so gracious, caring, friendly and so very kind. Pups Winnie and Maggie were so well behaved and trained. We had a great time taking them to the beach, walks around the neighbourhood and so very affectionate. We are so very thankful to Jim & Katie for welcoming our family and sharing Winnie, Maggie and their home with us. If they asked us to sit again we would in a heartbeat. Thank you so much again! Andrea and Tim greeted us on arrival day with a lovely dinner and thorough instructions for the care of the horses, chickens, and Chips. Their information guide was thorough and through our numerous communications while they were gone, they were super responsive and timely. The water tower is a real treat and one imagines all the people who have lived there over a couple of centuries. We love rural life and this housesit, with its working farm, gave us a real taste of Belgian life in the country. We not only HIGHLY RECOMMEND this position, we encourage all "takers" to explore the beautiful surroundings and take side trips to Waterloo, Liege, Brussels, etc. It's all very accessible with a vehicle. This is one housesit we will be talking about for a long, long time. It's a very, very special place.
I loved Housesitting for Sarah. I must admit I rather fell in love with Piglet. She was very easy to care for and such a sweetheart—she melted my heart and I’ll genuinely miss her. Sarah was absolutely lovely. She was so kind and incredibly generous, going above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and at home. I would happily housesit again.
We were delighted to house sit for Sandy and Jon, their house is fabulous and very straightforward to manage and the animals were very good natured and a pleasure to spend time with. Sandy and Jon are lovely easy-going people who went out of their way to ensure our comfort and needs were met throughout the duration of our stay in this beautiful part France. This was a really great house-sit we thoroughly recommend it.
It was a pleasure to watch Ron while Katie was out of town. He is such a sweetheart. I will miss our couch snuggles. The location is also great, plenty of amenities near by.
