Billy was the cutest, most well behaved dog I have cared for....I could have taken him home with me! Jenni, the owner, was also very easy to communicate with and their house was lovely. I would highly recommend this sit.
I absolutely loved housesitting for Georgia. She is such a warm delightful person, with beautiful home on a picturesque little lake. Her home is conveniently located to Sprouts/Target/and pretty much anything you might be looking to find! Cole and Dusty were full of personality and so much fun, and a breeze to care for! I 100% highly recommend Georgia and her cool cats! It would be my pleasure to sit for Georgia, Dusty and Cole again!
Holly is an extremely caring and warm host with the most precious baby girl pup, Milly. Holly welcomed me right into her home a few days early, and was most gracious and accommodating at every turn. Even though she is still a baby, Mily is really easy to train and listens very well. She loves to be loved and of course loves to run and play, but she is not overly hyper and energetic...just my speed; I miss her already!!! I will be returning to them soon, so that is a plus. This is a perfect sit for anyone looking to get an upclose and spectacular view of the Colorado Rockies, as they are close enough to be in the backyard. I highly recommend this sit, over and over again.
It was so lovely to care for sweet little Nisha in this home. Though she can be shy, she warmed up fairly quickly and always wanted to be around us even if it didn't involve cuddling. The setup at Aimee's place was perfect to help us work from home since they had a designated office. The neighborhood is also lovely and near lots of great coffee shops, and express trains and there's a grocery store right around the corner. I would highly recommend this sit!
We had a great time looking after Atlas, Luna, Ash and Sterling :) All the pets are really sweet and very easy to take care of. Each pet definitely has their own personality. Atlas is a sweetheart and really friendly, Luna is more shy and was a bit more cautios at first, but after a while she is really playful and really sweet as well. Ash is really sweet, he immediately came to sit on our laps and wanted to be petted, and lastly Sterling is very independent. Communication with Rebecca was great, as soon as we had a question she answered very quickly. She was very kind and friendly with us. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to meet Rebecca, Brandon and Drew, as we arrived after they left, but we could tell they are a great family and would recommend this sit anytime!
Elizabeth was great to communicate with. She was happy to accommodate me bringing my small service dog, who is very calm, and adaptable to other animals. Her dog Billy got along great with my dog. This pet sit was a nice win-win situation, as I was then able to accommodate Elizabeth's early flight and take her to the airport. She left her home clean and provided towels and everything one would need. Her place is large for a 1 bedroom with nice wood laminate floors and a modern style kitchen and bath (all very easy to keep clean), and her bed was super comfortable! The neighborhood is also nice, safe, and quiet -I always slept peacefully. Billy is a very sweet dog -he gets nervous sometimes and had some accidents, but it was an easy clean up on the floors. He is always excited to go for a walk or out in the car. He is generally great on walks -he doesn't pull on his leash, but sometimes he can be reactive to certain people or dogs. He is small though, so he is easy to handle, and he will quickly calm down and go back to having a nice walk. I just made sure to have a good hold of his leash when someone was walking by, so there was never any issue. He is also a great lap dog and will sit next to you on the couch while you watch shows/movies, and we had fun playing fetch with his toys. Overall, we had a very nice pet sitting experience with Elizabeth and little Billy. I'd recommend to anyone wanting to visit the Oakland area (close to the Emeryville Ikea), and a short drive to the Grand Lake area, UC Berkeley, and the Tilden park lake and hikes.
