Emelien
We were contacted by Emelien about sitting for her Teddie the Lakeland Terrier. We initially chatted over video call and were very much decided as soon as we met little Teddie on the video call.

Teddie is an adorable little 9 year old and has such a cute face, she really enjoyed the company of our cockerpoo Mabel on the sit, exploring their surroundings together on daily walks up and along the beautiful countryside alongside the cottage.

Teddie had the most endearing whimper when being prepared for her walkies, it was clear to see how excited she became. Teddies favourite pastime is definitely playing ball in the garden and snoozing on her blanket on the sofa!

The area around Compton Bassett is just lovely, Devizes, Marlborough all a car ride away. Without hesitation we would love to look after Teddie in the future and enjoy another stay in Wiltshire for Emelien and Laurie.

Joyce
Joyce’s home was a pleasure to look after! Her beautiful dog Xena was a delight! Playful, yet gentle. We really enjoyed our walks along the coast near their home and Xena was impeccably behaved. Also Joyce’s home is close to some of the Lakes District which made short excursions to this beautiful area possible. Many thanks Joyce for choosing us.

Angela
Well what can we say about staying our stay at Angela and Dans beautiful property?
Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Banjo has been one of our favourite dogs to look after to date. Angela and prepared all his nutritious food and had it all ready for us. Banjo is a sweet boy who loves to play fetch with his ball. He absolutely enjoyed his daily walks on the farm. Our kids were so entertained watching him swim in the stream to retrieve the ball!

The horses are gorgeous. James learnt from Angela exactly how to clean out their stables and give them hay. Up in the stables we left some food everyday for Puss who lives outdoors so very low maintenance to care for.

Before leaving for their trip we all enjoyed a lovely meal together and Dan showed us all the ins and out of the house and where to enjoy our daily walks.

A few days in we also looked after Bini, Hughey and Pharlapp. These pups were Angela and Dan’s sons dogs. They are not an issue at all. They are all very happy and easy going puppies.

Thank you again for a blissful stay and trusting us with your lovely pets.

We hope to visit again,
Love the Clanfield’s

We had an amazing sit at Steve & Clare's! Gorgeous house, beautiful animals - very low maintenance and fresh eggs every day from the chickens!. Great spot for daily walks through the forrest and along the stream. Clare & Steve were fantastic hosts and their girls even baked us muffins before they left! Thanks for having us - would recommend 110%!

Nicholas & Anni are friendly, welcoming hosts. I arrived the evening before they left for their trip very early the next morning so we got to know each other over a delicious home-cooked dinner and had time for a detailed handover of the house and Millie. The house is very comfortable and in an ideal location for walks on the beach close by.

I enjoyed my time looking after Millie who is young and full of beans. She loved playing with her balls in the garden and tug-of-war with her toys in the house. She is strong and would sometimes pull on her lead when out walking. Her training is still a “work in progress” so she hasn’t quite mastered the idea that “fetch” means she should bring the ball back to you so you can throw it again. Her recall is also a bit suspect, but she will come in her own time – with the encouragement of a few treats ! We had some relaxing time too - most evenings companionably cuddled up on the sofa watching tv.

I would recommend this sit to sitters who have the energy to keep up with a lively, but very loveable companion.
