We had magical days with Mia and Jasper! They are the sweetest kitties, very easygoing. Communication with Candace was flawless from start to finish. She left clear instructions regarding the kitties and the house and garden. The house is beautifully decorated, the porch and garden very relaxing to spend time in. The house is located very close to downtown Charleston, there are many many great restaurants and cafes close by. We could easily have stayed a lot longer and we would love to come back to another catsit with Mia and Japser!
What a wonderful pet sitting experience! Bobby truly made my stay memorable. His playful energy and love for running around in the nearby park added so much enjoyment to each day. He's great off-leash and has near-perfect recall. While he may be shy around many pups, there are a few he gets great joy from playing with, making trips to the park a highlight of the day. Between his park adventures, Bobby was content to relax and nap nearby, making him incredibly easy to care for. He'd occasionally climb onto my lap to join a Zoom meeting, which everyone loved. The location of Chris and Andrew's home couldn't have been better—it's close to the town center with plenty to see and do, and the nearby park provided the perfect playground for Bobby. Plus, the neighbors were all incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of the neighborhood. I also appreciated the opportunity to see pictures of Chris and Andrew's trip—they clearly have a knack for capturing special moments. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend Chris and Andrew as pet owners. Thank you for the opportunity to care for Bobby!

Just glorious, Lovely people and a lovely home that has everything you could need for an easy and pleasant sit. Beena and Zuma are just so easy to walk and the proximity of so many picturesque places to walk them makes this a perfect pet-sit. Great to sit in the garden with Beena and Zuma who are so relaxed and affectionate . a joy to be with. If you like walking friendly, obedient pets in one of the most beautiful parts of the country you could no better than sit for Drew and Liney. Highly recommended.....
What can I say about Lynda’s hospitality except wow? I had such a lovely time in Lynda’s beautiful apartment, so conveniently located and Gringo and Helios are so low maintenance. Feeding is easy and Gringo’s medication is a breeze. They will disagree on occasion, but can be distracted with food! Can’t wait to come back to visit! Thank you Lynda!

The three dogs are gorgeous animals with lots of personality and easy to enjoy being with. The area is a beautiful part of Italy and we enjoyed getting out to see some of the local attractions. Dropped my two Yorkies (Billie and Maggie) off with Nick on the Friday. He was very accommodating, welcoming, and reassured us that they would be fine. We went to pick them up again on Sunday, and they were so happy, waggy tailed. He loved them and wanted to keep them lol. He enjoyed having them and said it was a pleasure to look after them. I recommend Hayfield 100% and wouldn't hesitate in Nick looking after our girls again :-)
My 2 dogs had never stayed at kennels before and my cocker spaniel was also very wary of strangers. Nick spent a lot of time before their stay making sure that both dogs were happy and comfortable being with new people and with being at Hayfields. The dogs had a great stay and I would definitely recommend Nick and his team. Our dogs will definitely be staying at Hayfields again.
Fantastic dog kennels, would even go as far to say it's better than some hotels we've stayed at! Nick was a pleasure to deal with, always available and answered our queries within a few minutes. Our big dogs have had a lovely stay and came back happy and nicely worn out which is no mean feat! They'll be staying here again in the future for sure.

Grace and Iris obviously enjoyed their stay at Hayfields! A home from home for them with plenty of attention and space. Nick and his small team obviously love dogs. Cannot recommend highly enough. Grace and Iris can't wait until we book another holiday so that they can enjoy their own staycation.
I cannot recommend Hayfields enough. Nick and his team and very friendly and caring towards my two pooches. My dogs are always excited to stay at Hayfields and that is saying something as my two never really like leaving my side. The first time I arrived to look around Nick focused on talking and interacting with my dogs more than myself. He said first meeting is always important as this effects the dog's reaction to their stay and the first impressions of people are as important to dogs as they are with people. It is refreshing to find a place that see's a dog's stay through the eyes of a dog :)
This is a fabulous place to leave your dog. Our black lab loves it here, he has a comfortable bed, loads of room and runs round the attached paddocks at full tilt. This isn't the cheapest option by any means, but the owner Nick is passionate about dogs and their well-being and this is reflected throughout the kennels. Recommended without reserve.
Nick and his team provide nothing short of the best facilities that a dog could ever want when on their holidays. They are well looked after and in more than capable hands when staying at Hayfields. What's more you can count on them coming back pampered and well loved. Thanks for the stays.
Extremely friendly and efficient. A very clean and safe place for dogs. It was the first time that we have left our puppy in the care of others. She obviously enjoyed her stay. Good value for money. Nick and his team are caring and professional. Would totally recommend this dog hotel.
These kennel's are superb- everything your dog could wish for when you are away. We have a Flatcoat Retriever and she knows and loves the owners who take really good care of her when left. The kennels are new, clean, modern, heated and every dog can have their own run. Just great! Colin
Fantastic place with lovely staff, who really get to know and care about the dogs. My dog goes two days a week and gets so excited when we tell her she’s going to “Doggy Day Care”, and it’s great for me knowing she’s enjoying herself while I’m at work. I have also used their holiday boarding service, which was also excellent. Both me and the dog were really happy she was staying with people she knows really well and that know her really well.
Our dog Colin the rescue now comes weekly, he loves it and I cant thank Derrick and Sophie enough. They are understanding and accepting that every dog is different. As any dog parent you want to make sure you are sending them off to a caring place, I can honestly I say 5* doesn't do it justice. I am very happy I found this place. x
Putting Chip into daycare was the best thing we ever did!! He loves his two play sessions a week! As soon as we say his going his up and ready to get in the car, I would not trust anybody else other than the team at daycare with my boy!! They are so caring and loving with him !! We have had a few months of ill health in the family and they have had him in for extra sessions at a drop of a hat which has given us great pieces of mind his receiving the best of care! I would and have recommended anybody that a dog to book there dog in even if you do not need care to cover working just as a play session for your dog!! Thank you for looking after our boy x

Both of my golden retriever have been going to Doggies Friend since they were puppies.....they are now 5 and 3 and love going to daycare. I know they are safe and well cared for by all the staff and above all have fun and come home contented.

Our dog appears to love it here. We were quite nervous about kennels at first but she now goes regularly. Much less stressful than finding a dog sitter and relying on 1 person. All the staff seem lovely as well
1st time using. When we arrived I asked to see where he was staying as was told this was fine (dog) but told that I couldn't even though I was told via email that they have a open door policy. Collected dog and he had dried dog poo all over back legs and in his bum. Think a little wipe wouldnt have gone a miss with some water and blue towel

Denise and her team have looked after our cats and dogs for years and they are really wonderful. You can tell that they really care about the animals (my Cockapoo will often come home having been given a bath for example) and they are also very well organised.
We were visiting friends locally at short notice and our usual kennels at home was full. Happily BBKC had a place for our dog. We will certainly use again next time we visit without hesitation. The organisation is outstanding, the setting absolutely stunning, staff are wonderful and they care for your dog like their own. I always get anxious leaving him but I felt he was very safe and happy there. Thank you all - you are doing an amazing job! (Useful to note - cash is preferred! Also they have an impressive traffic light system for the single track road so you may have to wait a short while to enter)
This place came highly recommended by someone in work and I couldn't agree more. My boy was well and truly looked after and he seemed very happy when we picked him up. Other places he's been to I normally have to bath him and wash his stuff but he came back nice and clean. And he normally loose a lot of weight but he came back fine. Definitely be putting my boy here again.

I cannot sing this boarding facility praises enough! They are absolutely remarkable.They are simply angels. Some people are born to take care animals. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that my German Shepard Maximus was well taken care for a month and worked with me on any concerns I had with my pet. The owner Denise is just fabulous and outstanding. Her staff is equally amazing and so loving and kind. I would recommend this facility 1000x over! It is safe and clean and overall a beautiful boarding service. Thank you so much for all that you guys have done for my pet, we are beyond happy and ecstatic.
We will not be taking our dog there as we felt quite unwelcome and sensed that they did not want our dog to stay while we were away for the first time ever.
We have a 6 month old American bulldog cross that we were hoping to board here in October. I emailed and asked for the rates and availability, I was asked what breed he was and I replied american bulldog cross. I was told we don't board american bulldogs. I replied stating he was a cross breed. I understand that kennels have the right to say what they allow into their kennels but don't advertise all across your website that all breeds are accepted, as they aren't. Very misleading and they didn't bother to reply to my last email

Sophie is amazing with my Wish Springer Spaniel. My fur baby doesn't like being apart from me but she goes in with her ears up and tail wagging - and not just the first time! She is welcomed like one of the family and while we are away we get regular pup-dates on how she is. I would recommend without hesitation, we drive from Northampton because we are so happy with her service.
