Lari and Lacey were a joy to host at our home. Lari offered to stop by the day before the sit to do the walkthrough and clear up any questions or concerns. While away she sent us daily updates with photos so we knew our fur babies were well cared for and comfy. Lari was tidy, self-sufficient and reliable! I would definitely invite her back!
Liz and Steve were very welcoming, and had thought of everything to make this a really enjoyable house sit. Their home is wonderful and very comfortable. I had a very relaxing time..spent in the company of 4 very entertaining cats! They each have their own special spot and personality, and very soon warmed to having a stranger in their space. Even Big Boy, who was initially unimpressed, soon came over to be stroked. The area is within easy distance to a range of tourist attractions and National Trust properties. I also enjoyed a great Sunday Roast and ale at the pub across the road. I highly recommend this sit!
My stay with Minnie was a dream, I absolutely adored her and her fantastic company. Ellie was very accommodating, making sure everything was okay during my stay and had great replies throughout. Minnie is a very kind and caring dog who loves a good belly rub! I am very much looking forward to sitting for Ellie again and miss Minnie lots already!
Had an awesome experience housesitting for Dino and Brianna. From the start, communicating with them was very easy and they immediately welcomed me into their home. Their house was set in a beautiful neighborhood in Kirkland and a few minutes drive from the main area which has great places to eat and work. But everything I needed was at home and their pets were awesome. Salmon was like a big black bear and teddy bear haha one of the best and easily loving dogs I've met. Theo was very easy, he just laid around and wanted a few pets here and there. Overall, I had a great time and I would highly recommend housesitting for them. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
We had great time at Martha and Miki's place. It was super nice that we were allowed to stay the night before the sit began, this gave us the opportunity to get to know them and the cats. Simba and Zizu were fun, energetic cats, but they are also quite the handful. They are young and thus had to be cleaned up after. We thought this wasn't really a problem, because we got the house handed to us very cleanly. Although English isn't Martha and Miki's first language, keeping in touch was easy with the use of a WhatsApp group.
I had a wonderful time during this sit. Alice and Xanthe made me feel SO welcome and comfortable, even taking the time to show me around town, and it was a real joy to look after their amazing and funny animals. I miss snuggling with Rasmus on those cosy mornings, Rosie sleeping on my legs and the wisdom of Billy Joe! Thanks for reminding me how wonderfully silly cats can be! Aracena is a beautiful place and I’m grateful I got the chance to experience it. There are some great hikes you can do within walking distance, and the caves are well worth a visit. Alice’s home is cosy while spacious and has everything you need. Thank you Alice and Xanthe, I’d love to repeat the experience!!
We really enjoyed our time in Simon & Debra's beautiful and comfortable home. The location is fantastic - a short leafy walk to Chapel Allerton centre in one direction and to the Gledhow Valley in the other. All of the animals are wonderful - so enjoyable to spend time with and easy to care for. An idyllic homesit!
