I had a very relaxing stay at David and Kitty's. They were very quick to welcoming and picked me up from the airport.
I had my own comfortable studio apartment with a small pool outside which was a lovely surprise.
Rosie was a great walking companion, and took me on long walks through the wooded hills behind the house. She is very playful and loves ending her walks with a ball in the pretty river running through the village. She can be stubborn, but having a cat, I'm used to being told what to do. She also likes to say hello to everyone, especially when soaking wet, but no-one seemed to mind.
Milo is a very friendly cat, and makes sure you know who's boss. The other 2 cats were quite shy, but treats and play brought them out after a few days.
There are also fresh grapes and damsons outside, which was nice.
The village has everything you need, and is very friendly. Further afield is the old Cathar village of Minerve, which is worth a visit, as is the surrounding countryside. There are also numerous vineyards around.

Richard
A pleasure to deal with Richard and Wendy; it was a super easy-going sit in gorgeous Devonport. Bonnie and Clyde are so cute, are active walkers but also love lazing around in the sun or on laps. If you have lots of pats to give, this pair will love you. ❤

Heather
Heather and Tim were wonderful. I arrived the night before they left so they could show me around and let me meet the dogs, which were super sweet and easy to take care of. I had a fantastic week, chilling in the garden a lot while the dogs napped at my feet. We took nice long walks in the field next to the house. I didn't need a lead as they stayed close by me the whole time.
As a city girl, I enjoyed the chance to be out in nature for a change. The house was spacious and inviting -- a great place to relax! Tim and Heather are so organized. The welcome book had all the information I needed and everything was neatly laid out, which made it effortless to feed and care for the dogs. I fell in love with their havapoo Dolly and I miss her already. I loved my time there and would gladly come back and sit for Heather and Tim anytime!

Tyler
I highly recommend this sit.

Ellie and Theo are gorgeous, sweet and cuddly cats, and I already miss them.

Tyler and Kelsey are great hosts. Their place was clean, cushy and convenient, with beautiful views. That includes dedicated workspaces for telecommuting and easy walkability to groceries, shops and restaurants. They also offered the most robust and clearly organized welcome guide I’ve seen yet and they shared it well before our sit, which I appreciated.

Street parking was easy and Tyler and Kelsey let me use their garage spot, because they drove on their trip.

I’ve never sat Siberians before and I found Ellie and Theo to be lovable, floofy and easy to take care of. They shed quite a bit, but their home is equipped with a robo-vacuum and cleaning supplies.

They both were easy to brush. Ellie and Theo also get on well together. Just watch out for Ellie, because she’s quick and will pounce on treats and gobble up Theo’s if she can. 😆

Lorri
Lori, her family and her menagerie are absolutely awesome. While small, Salida has so much to offer, and I enjoyed my time there. The horses are absolutely beautiful, and such sweet animals with hilarious characters, although I have to say Bella the donkey got me every time. Thank you for having us!
