We Had a Great sit with Rosie!! In fact…she won our Hearts over…Rosie loved to snuggle, cuddle,lay on our laps…sat with us everywhere!! We adored her softness and huge Heart. We discovered…..her favorite all time dish was….pork shoulder especially the au jus part!!!!
Koen and Barbara’s home was very comfy, the neighbourhood was central to center of Calgary with easy bus ride to and from on the 2 line, i discovered you can also take the 301…and a couple others from Central blvd( a Main Street) to 28th and walk it back to their home within minutes!!
Koen and Barbara were good communicators. We met them the day of their departure and got the ins and outs that was clear to understand. They are nice people. We enjoyed 2 local eateries within a 5 minute walk and found 2 Italian Markets that were chock full of goodies!!!

We were lucky enough to meet up with Netty, Hans, and young Kip before the sit because we don't live too far away, and it was good to be able to go for a walk together. Kip is an exuberant people lover with an interest in whatever is going on. He does though snooze often and so can be left for a little while (although we are sure he would prefer to be with you out and about in the car!). Priory Barn is a very comfortable, clean, warm house with a garden large enough for Kip to enjoy his frisbee. The area is absolutely beautiful (as all of Suffolk is) and there are plenty of road-free walks to enjoy with Kip. We are looking forward to further walks with Netty, Hans, and Kip in the future. It was a pleasure sitting for Riley. She’s a little shy at first but after a few walks and several treats she warmed right up to me. Kelly’s home is cozy and welcoming as well. I’d definitely sit for her again 😊
What an absolutely wonderful sit experience! Orrel was so kind, and she is such a good dog mom. She loves her little Darcy so much and it really shows in Darcy’s behavior. I got to spend over a month with little Darcy and she kept me entertained for my entire stay. She is so cuddly and affectionate. Orrel’s beautiful home is in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. It was just perfect with the cute shopping area a quick walk away. I’m so lucky to have been invited to take care of this sweet pup and stay in such a lovely place.
This house sit was just perfect all round. Simon and Linda are champion hosts. Warm-hearted and very easy going people. We felt welcome and valued right from the start. Paulchen is a real ray of sunshine. He is very intelligent and easily lets you know when he wants to do something other than sleep. He accepted us as his pack after just a few days and slept in bed with us every night. The daily work with the animals on the farm was very grounding for us. It was lovely to see how happy each animal was to receive daily feeding and attention from us. We also quickly got to know the different character traits of each animal. The house is in a quiet location and has everything you need. We are sure that everyone who stays here will feel completely at home. We do recommend this housesit 100%. I absolutely loved exploring Marble Hill, Eel Pie Island, York Gardens and the streets of East Twickenham and Richmond with Nora and Noodle. They were good company, very loving and openhearted. We had tones of cuddles - Nora likes her tummy being stroked; and Noodle will let you hold him like a baby and sleep in your arms. it’s hard not to grow to love them after a day together. Their routine was easy. Luna and Wilson largely minded their own business as cats do. Wonderful five days petsitting! Thank you, Sarah and Elliott! 🙏
