As soon as I met Ruth I knew she would be the right person to look after our 3 girls ( Molly and Brambles two cats and Tess our ageing black lab bitch). It was easy to communicate with her and thus she was able to plan to arrive earlier than discussed due to the inclement weather given us more time to get to the airport. She kept in touch while we were on hols sending us updates and photos of the three girls; putting our minds at rest, that all was ok at home. She coped brilliantly in the snowy conditions in fact absolutely loved it even if she couldn't get her car out for two days. She truly cared for the girls as we would ourselves. On our return Tess , Brambles and Molly looked healthy and very contented on our return. The house was tidy and clean and Ruth even made us some soup and apple crumble which was very tasty. I would highly recommend Ruth and would welcome her back at any time. She is a delight to have, very reliable and trustworthy.
Peter and Nicole were excellent communicators from the first contact/inquiry. It was a pleasure getting to know them both - and I appreciated the zoom meeting(s) prior to the sit which gave us an opportunity to learn a bit about each other. Their excellent communications skills spilled over into an excellent house/pet sit as we received daily updates while away leaving us worry free and re-assured that our pets and home were being well cared for. When we returned home we found everything in excellent order - we felt like our home was cleaner upon our return than when we left. Even our houseplants received attentive care. Terry and I highly recommend Peter and Nicole as house/pet sitters and hope that one day they will accept an invitation to sit for us again. Thank you Peter and Nicole, may your blessing abound, as you certainly were a blessing.
We enjoyed our sit with Stella, who was well behaved and fun to be around, happy to greet you with a dance when you get home or hang out on her own on her pillow on the balcony. She loves her regular walking routine, constantly on the lookout for squirrels. ;-) Sarah was great, the apartment is very modern, clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood is great with hipster bars and gourmet taco stands on the closest intersections. We recommend SouthPark Yoga just a 15 minute walk, and breakfast at Tobey's 19th Hole on the way home. ;-)
