Dog Sitters in Uppingham

Edward provided excellent care for our boisterous German Shepherd Summer and proved a great house-sitter. He is very well organised, caring and kind. Summer was well exercised and enjoyed long walks including new areas in Battersea and Dulwich in addition to her traditional parks. Edward also kept us posted via WA of their journeys together and we had great peace of mind on holiday knowing that our dog and house were in excellent hands. We would gladly have Edward back for another zeewoi sit in future. Thanks Eddie.

Emma and Paul came to look after Madhu and Bhanu and I was a bit nervous as I never been away that long but they did a super job. I met them prior going bay which was good for me as I was able to show and explain everything to them. They did a great job with the cats and I received regular updates with pictures which was great for me to see and feel relaxed whist away. the house was left in impeccable condition and the cats welcomed us as they would normally do when we are back from work, they were both very chilled and relaxed. which made me feel very good I would definitely recommend Emma and Paul to anyone who considers going away They are true cat lovers and that is what needed

Deb and Mel were fantastic from start to finish. The communication was excellent at all times and they clearly bonded very well with our three dogs - I suspect the dogs did not want them to leave! The house was very tidy when we returned and to top it all off, they had left us a with delicious meal which was very tasty and welcome after a long drive. We hope they can come back and help us again and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

Jordan and Marta are simply the very best house sitters. They cared for Martha our cat and she was obviously smitten with them. They kept and left the house immaculate, even down to tidying our knife and fork drawer!! We would have them back tomorrow to look after us, let alone the cat!! Fantastic sitters.

Claire was a wonderful pet sitter who I would welcome her back any time. She was very attentive to the needs of each pet and indispensable when one of my cats took ill. Her care went above and beyond, with trips to the vet, handling medications, and offering loving care. She was also a great communicator throughout the month-long stay, giving regular updates and consulting with any questions. She also took the dogs for lots of long walks and kept their fur in great shape. Four pets can be a handful and she proved very competent, reliable and trustworthy. She also took good care of my home and car. Very highly recommended!

Can't recommend Lucy highly enough! We had a small panic 48hours before the sit that meant our plans might have to change, but Lucy was super understanding with our situation. Our dog Didge looked to have an absolute ball with Lucy and her friends! We had regular updates of his antics too which was great. Communication before and during sit was excellent. We came back to a tired but happy dog and a spotless home. Thank you Lucy 🐈‍⬛🐕

This was our first time using Housesitters and we were apprehensive about leaving Gracie with strangers. However Gracie was well looked after by Petroula who was very pleasant and kept us updated.

Sarah was fantastic. This was a last minute stay and she more than saved the day. We loved getting the daily updates, my personal favourite definitely being a gorgeous photo of my elderly Bob looking beautiful in a daisy chain headdress. clearly happy enough to pose for the photo. We felt in very safe hands. Came home to happy and relaxed dogs. Juno came too, and our dogs, who are not that used to outside dogs, clearly had no problems at all, Juno seemed to blend in with the gang very easily. Highly recommend Sarah - a lovely person - and our dogs clearly had a very happy time with her!!

Zoey and her daughter were excellent pet sitters. Our dog Toby took to them right away and they sent photos throughout our trip, which, as first-time users of a pet sitter, made us feel completely relaxed. They were great a communicating and we’re flexible with dates so we could handover at the house :) They left our house immaculate, and we hope they can come back again!

It’s 5 stars from us! Mike was the perfect sitter; we talked plenty leading up to the sit, and Mike even called in beforehand as he was nearby which was helpful. He arrived exactly when he said he would, messaged whilst we were away and the house and animals were all just as we left them. What stands out though is the extra mile he went; Arnie has a recent diagnosis of heart disease, meaning he’s on a high dose of medication for a while, Mike was even OK about getting up in the night to let him out for a wee for which I am very grateful. He also cared for my indoor plants; watering and misting. Above all though, Mike is just a really nice guy; he’s easy to talk to and the animals all responded well to him. We hope to stay in touch.

In the initial application Jolanta was very accommodating. Whilst she lived quite local to us we was able to meet in person and get to know Milo. She asked all the right questions to assure us that Milo and our home was in good hands. She is worldly and very experienced lady and is able to manage any issues practically and efficiently. During sit we communicated daily - usually I would checkin but took this as good sign that she didn’t need to bother us while we were having fun! Jolanta always checked with any exceptions as opposed to what was in the welcome guide or discussed. She was really accommodating in staying over the night before as we had a very early flight so she could familiarise with Milo and enable good handover.. she bought us wine to have for dinner and made a splendid cake for our return which was very welcomed after a long day travel! Home and dog all looked after very well. Jolanta is a very interesting and intelligent lady and your home and pet will be in good hands!
