Seth is an A+ sitter. This was a long sit, the longest I have taken thus far (17 days) and Seth handled the dogs and house effortlessly. Junior has a skin condition when he swims and Seth stayed on top of the routine religiously (nightly rinses and thorough dries) and Junior’s coat has never looked so good at this point during the swim season. Seth is welcome back anytime!
Elizabeth was a great host and Clover is the sweetest girl. Her and Finnegan had fun playing together and it was a great sit! Close to the beach too!
We spent a lovely week being looked after by Dougie and Crumble, two of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet. Great personalities, low maintenance and a joy to walk, with perfect recall. Clare's house is extremely well appointed and comfortable with everything you need. The Aga was well appreciated, we loved the kitchen and dining area with a view of the garden and spent a lot of time there. Our bedroom was superb, comfortable bed with a large en suite. We used the playroom to improve our pool skills and the homely lounge for a our TV needs. Clare spent time explaining the routines and local attractions, there was an excellent pub within walking distance. Dougie and Crumble took us there but failed to buy a round on each occasion. We walked a different route every day and they were a pleasure to be with. The farm shop is a 'must see' with lovely coffee and cakes to fuel the return walk. A great sit and we'd love to come back if invited.
Giovanna was a great host and she provided us with all the information needed for a successful sit. Her apartment was an absolute pleasure to stay in, very clean and comfortable. It is conveniently located near restaurants, grocery stores and more. We felt completely safe in this beautiful part of Oakland, near Lake Merritt, parks and museums. If you stay here, be sure to check out the Oakland Museum of California. Pixel is a love bug! We were fast friends and she was all about snuggling up with us on the couch. That is, when she wasn't soaking up the sun on the balcony. She is also motivated by treats and will let you know when she'd like one. Pixel is a super sweet cat. We highly recommend this sit!
Franchesca and Dan are such a lovely, fun, easy-going couple with a great sense of humour. They made us feel welcome straight away! Franchesca and Dan have a nice and modern home near Alton. It's a peaceful and picturesque small town easily accessible by bus and train. Their home is comfortable, warm and cosy and has everything required for a great stay. Binxy was a delight - she loved to play and have the room's attention :). Thank you so much for having us!
Alison and John made us fell so welcomed. We really enjoyed our stay and felt very spoilt staying in such a nice home and surroundings with such great pets. Quiet contemplative Cleo, smoochy conversationalist Ebony and lovable, well mannered Tilly. A highly recommended sit and we sincerely hope we have the opportunity to house sit again in the future.
