My love of elderly pets made this the perfect fit. Daisy alone makes this a 5+ STAR sit. Add to that a beautiful home and a location within walking distance of any and all conveniences... could not have asked for more. Daisy is one of the sweetest senior citizens you will meet. Considering her age related health issues, most likely on her final chapters of life. But all the energy of many dogs half her age. Although walks were kept short for her own good, there is no doubt she would have happily walked 4X as long if it were her choice. But seemingly just as happy to have short bursts of activity and then hang out and be a part of whatever I was doing inside the home. Life of an elderly pet. All they ask for is a little exercise and a lot of LOVE. Kendra was great! As mentioned, a beautiful home which was left extremely clean and tidy for my arrival. Much appreciated! And a big bonus for me was the home gym. 5 STARS! Strongly recommend this sit! My hope is to return in May if our availability allows, but if not... grab any available dates and ENJOY!
What a great farm sitting experience - about 20 hens and 3 beautiful roosters, 2 adorable young goats - Benjamin and Ginger - who played together so well and were easy to pet, PLUS one senior and docile Great Dane mix dog - Blue, who was easy to care for. Fed everyone twice a day in a well established routine - and feeding the chickens and goats was entertaining and fun! Sherry was a kind and responsive communicator and kept everything so organized and clear. It is a beautiful property with trees providing good shade and a nice, clean and organized home. I recommend this sit for a unique farm experience! Plus yummy eggs!

This is a sit that we would definitely love to revisit, We were made to feel so welcome, and had a lovely evening with Julia and Mike before they left, and were made to feel very comfortable in their home. Sasha is a beautiful dog, so easy to look after, and her personality was wonderful. Their home was a wonderful base to explore some of the beautiful Dorset coast. We would definitely recommend this sit, and would hope to return again in the future.
I had a most wonderful time in Marseille with Sara and Lewis's kitties. They were most friendly and sweet from the beginning, and of course they are just so gorgeous. Sterling and Poopi are calm distinguished gentlemen, and Fruit and Pickle are still fun and playful curious kittens. They all love to purr and get pets and head scratches and cuddles. They get along very well, and are obviously happy and well taken care of. During the day they may sleep in different places, but in the evening they would always get together in the living room like a little family, that was so adorable. Their care is easy, they were super low maintenance and get in no trouble:) I got really attached to them and will miss them a lot! Sarah and Lewis's apartment is spacious is in the best location possible, quiet and beautiful neighborhood, a short walk to the Old Port, La Bonne Mere, the museums and beaches, and Place Castelliane where you can take buses to go to the calanques. There's lots of market and grocery store options nearby, bakeries and restaurants. Thanks Sarah and Lewis for trusting me with your lovely furry family!
Linda, Loran, Greta, and Bavin are such a great family! They are super communicative, kind, open, and just cool people altogether :) We had a beautiful time at their apartment, which by the way is one of the coolest places we have ever stayed at: every night we listened to different vinyls, tried a bunch of jigsaw puzzles and board games, admired the art on the walls… However, the best part of the sit was definitely taking care of Bavin. He is such a loving and playful dog who loves spending time with people. We loved just running around at home playing with him, or cuddling with him and getting many dog kisses from him. Today we couldn‘t stop talking about how much we miss getting snuggled by Bavin at night, hihi. So yes, highly recommend to anyone visiting Berlin, you would be super lucky if you get to stay with such a great family. And to Linda, Loran, and Greta, thank you so much for your hospitality and for making our first housesitting experience on THS so special :)
