As a new member of zeewoi I couldn´t have had a better start than with Mel. Not only was she a good communicator, but was also totally reliable and committed to give me reassurance and peace of mind. During my time away I got lovely pics from my animals, and it became obvious that they felt comfortable and were well looked after. It was Mel´s first time with chickens and I think the girls and her formed a mutal admiration society. My cat was very relaxed on my return, he hadn´t missed me, which is a very good sign - he had been happy in Mel´s company. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy when I returend, all the washing ready to go into the machine, making it easy for me. Mel had also been looking after my big garden, having to water nearly every day due to the heat and she did an excellent job - everything was thriving. On my return I found a hen present from her, a lovely and touching surprise. I cant thank Mel enough and I truly recommend her to anybody.
Daniel and Joy looked after our dog Ziggy and cat Kiki whilst we were away for 6 days. They are an experienced team, self-reliant, adventurous, easy-going and helpful. They bonded well with Ziggy and Kiki, who seemed very relaxed, trusting and comfortable in their care. The house and plants were also well tended to- everything was kept neat and clean and we did not need to worry about anything. We would be glad to have Daniel and Joy pet-sit for us again any time.
Wayne and Deanna are a super pleasant, conscientious couple. Would love to have them sit for us again!
We had a fantastic stay in Uetikon taking care of Poppy. She’s a sweet, mellow dog and a pleasure to spend time with. The location and setup of the house was excellent. So easy to get into Zurich by train (we didn’t need a car at all) and to take the train to some great hiking spots. The access to the lake at the bottom of the hill is perfect for hot days. Communication with our hosts was perfect - an all around great stay.
