Clare and Steve’s place was simply awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed caring for all of the Shetland ponies (Merry, Pippin, and Polly). They all had such different personalities and we really took to caring for them. The routine with the ponies would take about 2hrs in the morning, and a short few minutes in the evening, although we found ourselves just wanting to spend time with them. They are friendly and always interested in what you’re doing. Pippin required a little bit of extra time with his skin/allergy condition, but it made our mornings interesting! Dottie was such a sweetheart, we enjoyed a few games of hide and seek, walks to the Sunday market and few evenings on the couch cuddling and watching movies. The house is extremely well appointed, very clean and we enjoyed the many seating areas spread around the yard. We didn’t have a car, but had access to electric bikes, which we used for the entire stay to get all of our shopping done and managed just fine. Clare and Steve left a good set of instructions and were always available when questions arose. We are very thankful to have crossed paths and wouldn’t hesitate to sit again! Thank you!
Nestled within the beautiful vineyard slopes, with stunning views over looking lac Laman and the sweet and friendly town of Vevey, I enjoyed every minute minding cute and loving kitty Maggie. Staying at Mariannes was an absolute dream! This experience was something I will remember for a long time. Marianne is very generous and made sure that I feel really comfortable. The apartment I stayed in, is cozy and beautifully decorated. It had everything one could need and the gorgeous views of the lake! Amazing place to get creative inspiration and peace. Maggie was an absolute joy to look after! Very cute and loving character. I had so much fun hanging with her daily. Marianne were super kind, and provided me with all sorts of treats! I truly feel so privileged to have met her and experienced a glimpse of her live in her beautiful universe. Thank you and hope our paths will cross again sometime!
We absolutely loved looking after Twiglet and Ruffle and miss them already. They are both adorable, funny girls who love affection. Walking them was easy because the garden backs right onto country footpaths and it's safe to let them play in the nice big garden too. Lucy and Tom were lovely, gave us a great hand over and left excellent notes so the whole sit went very smoothly. The house is beautiful and absolutely immaculate. There are some really pretty villages and walks nearby too. We would thoroughly recommend this sit - take it if you get the chance!
Shan & David were amazing hosts while I cared for Cisco & Brooklyn. I had amazing time with the pups and recommend them highly. They have a beautiful home and are such great, kind and fun people.
Such a perfect sit! Kyleen and Manu were great communicators even through a 12 hour time difference. They made me feel right at home. Chloe and Claude are very loving pets that are easy to take care of and the instructions for their care was straightforward and laid back. Claude was a joy to walk! There are lots of trails right close to the apartment. Their place is well situated to grocery stores and everything you could need. I would absolutely sit for them again!
Dan's communication and preparation were excellent. He's very generous and truly planned for us to have a great sit with Walter and Donny. Every aspect of their care was covered. Dan even took the time to show us all of the details of their needs in person. We spent about 6 weeks caring for Walter and Donny and totally fell in love with them. Walter and Donny are well-trained, thus easy to walk. We never had a single issue with them. Their size and strength may give the impression that they are a lot to manage, but their training makes their care so easy and enjoyable. We hope to be invited back to care for Walter and Donny again. A+ in every way. Highly recommend!
